Cool place to hang with friends. Tuesday's are half off most things on the menu drinks included but it's cash only. If you don't like sitting next to stranger then your might not like this place since it's mostly communal seating.

Excellent authentic German cuisine with the brew to back it up. Does not disappoint if you dont mind an authentic bier hall seating arrangement. Sometimes finding seating for you and your Honey may be difficult at peak times. Good food with NYC pricing. Be prepared. Oh, and you must order the pretzel!

Great craft beer and draft beer selection. Their food menu doesn’t stay behind either. I had the calamari and sausage and it was full of flavor and different from the way other restaurants serve it. This is a true Biergarten. Love the atmosphere and the charm of the staff.

For a beer garden, this place has good bar food. The extensive beer menu is really impressive and definitely worth checking out. They also have a full bar if beer isn't your choice of alcohol. There is plenty of room inside the restaurant and also outside in their courtyard. There are live music nights as well.

Was here on a Tuesday night which was busy but not too busy that you can’t enjoy the environment. Great selection of beers and ciders. Food was fantastic as well. If you pay cash on Tuesday’s you get their happy hour special.

Great beer selection as well as an amazing pretzel. If you want food from the grill (burger, brat, etc) that is cash only, the rest you can use a card to pay.

I only ever go for half price Tuesday, but I'd pay full price if I had to. Great place to have beer and sausage. The other offerings I've had (mussels and tartare) were also very good. Great atmosphere

This is such a good spot - and even better in nice weather. The outdoor space and shared tables make for great neighborhood vibes. The beer list is extensive and the employees help guide novices (like myself) in their decision-making. Also - best. pretzels. EVER!

Beer selection is mostly classic German with a few local drafts and cans. Food good. Big Hall with plenty of room. Kid friendly during the day, but don't expect a place for them to play. Food was good, even if the grill line was a hot mess. Service got a bit overwhelmed but they were super nice.

Tuesday is the best for a bargain. Great food and drinks, the pretzels are so good. Very busy and sometimes a wait for seating but worth a visit

I really loved this place. It's spacious, the food is good, and it has different rooms that have a different feel to them. I got charged $30 for drinks i didnt buy and that sucked, but still a place id go back to.

Probably my favorite place in Hoboken. Food is great, fresh German beer and chill beer garden atmosphere. Half price Tuesdays are a must. Cash only You've been warned.

Love this place.
The food is great, weather you get it from the grill or order the table food. And always get a pretzel on the side, you will not be dissatisfied.
The staff is friends. Even on Tuesday, when the whole menu is 50% off and they obviously do extra work for less money.response / report this review -

A gem on the outside of Hoboken.
The place itself is awesome, feels like cavernous warehouse turned into a beer garden. Also, there's a grill that cooks up AMAZING German sausages. This place makes "best-of" lists often and for reason: what they offer is really appealing.
Also, they have a good Facebook page with someone who responds to inquiries. Love this place.response / report this review
