  Never had a problem there. Everyone seems friendly and polite. A great place to go and shoot. I wish it was closer.

  Very sketchy and dangerous. I would be careful here. Allot of young inexperienced people with guns. And was shocked there were 3 year old kids out here with no was protection. REALLY PEOPLE!

  Very unsafe range, no supervision whatsoever. People pointing fully loaded weapons towards the parking area without and regards to safety. It's a wonder somebody hasn't been killed yet, would not recommend this place until it's supervised.

  This is an unsupervised range. One of the sketchiest places I have been to. Kid's running around unsupervised. Total disregard for posted range rules.
  I was patterning a shotgun and had people walking up behind me looking for used hulls. I wore my sidearm due to this places reputation, glad I did. Had no idea how bad it actually is here.
  Facilities are bad as well. The RR tie pattern board was totally shot (sorry for the pun). Had to search for a place to screw in the support screws for the pattern paper as pistol/rifle bullets took up so much space. Against the rules btw. IMO the state should shut this place down or fix the safety issues before someone is hurt/killed.

  I don't have too many complaints about the range itself, but I'll leave a few comments. I like that there are multiple distances at the gun range (longer than 100 yards would be nice though), a shotgun range, and an archery range. I wish that the backstops were repaired more regularly, they use a plastic mesh held up with fence posts to hang targets on, but it gets shot up and always seems to be hard to attach paper targets to. I guess my previous complaint wouldn't be a problem if you had your own target systems to bring and set up, which brings me to my next point. I had wanted to set up some clay pigeons to shoot at the gun range, so I brought them out only to read that they weren't allowed on that range so I never used them even though I saw people on the range using them that same day. My main reason for not liking going to that range often is the people, but that's not really something the range can do about without an on duty range officer (which has never been present from my observations). It always seems like there are two extremes of people, the know it alls who are snobby and look down on every one else on the range, and the new guys who have no sense of safety and shoot across lanes, load mags with their finger on the trigger, and rapid fire at absolutely nothing. My last point is that no one really picks up their brass, even though it's a posted range rule, I guess that could be a plus for people who reload.

  Pigeon Hill Conservation Area offers Scenic views of nature surroundings. The biggest attraction of Pigeon Hill Conservation Area is that there is a gun range with in Pigeon Hill. The range offers archery shotgun pistol and rifle ranges. Visitors can bring their weaponry and do target practice on site.

  Great conservation range. Wish people would pick up their own brass, but otherwise, great place! Ranges for rifles, pistols, shotguns, and bows.
