Grew up going to this campground. First time I've been back in 15 years. Still great! We camped in the field and it was great. Large campsite, plenty of shade all day! Rafts were in good condition and float was great!

The people that run this campground and canoe rental were very attentive and considerate! The bathroom/shower area was clean and had fast hot water.

Hands down the best place to go for a float trip! I've been to several different campgrounds and rivers and this one is by far my favorite. The campsites are always nice and clean, its very organized, it's a great location and most of all they have excellent customer service, always cater to your needs and the staff members are always fun and friendly and have always made my canoe trips a great experience!

This place is wonderful. We were just there a few days ago and also had to cancel the actual float trip due to weather but they couldn't have been any nicer. They refunded us our money minus the credit/debit card fee which was specifically explained to us when we booked the trip in the first place with a credit/debit card. They are so friendly and keep very nice campgrounds. We will definitely reschedule this trip and this is the only place we will go!! Our kids loved the place, as did we!!!

Let me start off by saying I would give 0 stars or 1/2 of a star if possible.

This mom and pop campground river rental service is living in the past decade. Long story short our large group float trip was canceled due to inclement weather. When I received news of this I was very upset and expected to receive a full refund as I had covered the cost for my entire group (friends paid me separately). However, when I checked my statements I was shorted 20+ dollars on my refund. After calling and speaking with the woman apparently it was my fault for using a credit card as I ended up eating money on my own trip refund due to the fact that they are unable to process credit cards without a service fee. I essentially paid 20+ dollars to stay at home and not float on the river and will now be paying back my friends money out of my own pocket due to the fact they cannot refund my full amount. I will not be returning due to dated technology and paying money out of my pocket for a trip I did not even take. No other options were even offered to compensate for my loss. Poor customer service.

Wouldn't camp anywhere else along the Niangua. My friends and I have been coming here for 7 years. Technically, it was our senior "class trip," as it was the only vacation we went on together that summer. All of the workers are very friendly and have catered to our needs. We love it!
