The scene: New Year's Eve, tire warning light comes on south of Eloy. The Z4 has run flats, so it's not critical, but can't ignore. Exit Picacho. Off the ramp we head to the filling station east of the highway. First to the south The air machine eats two quarters and produces no air. Across the way to the north a sign indicates no air. Sigh.

Across this highway is a little garage and a woman greets us. As "Sweet" as her name. She made us feel welcome, and helped. She helped manage a tow to Tucson. Sweet told is stories, laughed and made a tough thing easy. She even called her regular customers to let them know she was closing early for the holiday of they needed anything.

After a breakdown outside of Globe AZ on our way to Pinetop, we were at the mercy of AAA and whoever they dispatched our call to. Our day consisted of 2 separate tows to help us get back home to Vail. Our 1st of 2 from Globe area to Oracle, was not so great (different company) for a variety of reasons but the most important being we had two medium/large dogs with us which was not accommodated on tow 1 and we will leave it at that.

Eddie's was the service who took care of us from Oracle to Vail and WOW what a difference between the two experiences. First they showed up EARLIER than the anticipated time. Second, the driver and his helper (his adorable son, donning a AAA hat) were amazing, kind and knew we had dogs. Third, the entire experience from the drive in a brand new tow truck to them welcoming our dogs and allowing them to sit in the cab (vs. a hot towed vehicle) spoke volumes to me of top notch service to people in a stressful situation. They got us, our fur babies and our truck home safely and we had an enjoyable time chatting with the driver.

I will tell anyone/everyone I know in need of a tow in the greater Pima/Pinal area that Eddie's is the best!
