The only reason im giving this a 4 is the wait. I would never sit and eat because we sat there for a good 10 or more minutes and left because we werent even greeted by than but i heard so much good reviews so we called and made a togo order took about 45 minutes -1 hour before they called and told us it was ready since they told us 25 minutes and when we went it still wasnt done so we told him to call us. But the food was absolutely delicious! I will be placing more togo orders but next time i know ill order early if im wanting it for dinner. I recommend the crab ragoons and general tso! My fiance loved the drunken noodles!

Fantastic food and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Food is kinda pricey, but you really get what you pay for. Huge portions and seriously good food here. 10/10 would recommend.

What a pleasant surprise! Driving to Kansas City, found it on the map, and decided to try it out, based on average Google reviews. We are from SE Asia and are pretty picky about good food. Well, Pho Bannlao does not adjust their flavors for the midwestern palate. We had Thai items from the menu, and they're excellent. The mango sticky rice dessert is fabulous! The owners come from Laos, and a lot of the decorations (wood panels, etc.) are from Laos, and absolutely gorgeous. Good value too! Don't miss it!

The papaya salad was sweet and spicy and salty. Great app to share. We had tom yum soup and pad khieng. Very good! Service was great.

One of my favorite stops in Emporia! I've tried all the Pho selections and they are great! They are closed from time to time when they travel out of the country, but it is usually posted on their Facebook.

Really enjoyed my first visit. Good food and atmosphere was fun and cosy. We had a very enjoyable Mother/Daughter dinner. The place is clean, fresh and updated decor. Definitely recommend going.

New location that just opened few weeks ago. They have renovated the location tastefully and it's a clean and comfortable environment. My only complaint would be that it was a tad warm for my liking but it could just be me.

Staff were very helpful with questions about the menu and we were well taken care of. Our order took a little long to be served but the location being a new one and not fully staffed yet was probably the reason.

Food was great, especially the crab rangoon!
