  After driving out of my way to come to this bar to hang out with my boyfriend who is playing poker, I was refused to be let in because I wasn't 30. Not even trying to cause trouble was just trying to hang out with my boyfriend in a bar that had no customers other than poker players. Don't really understand how a bar that has no customers can be turning away any business at all. If I was able to give a zero star rating I would.

  Went here for New Year's Eve with my fiance and some friends (all of us 26 years old). The bar is at a bit of an odd location (next to a strip joint), but they had good, cheap food and the staff was friendly. My fiance and I just went back tonight and were turned away at the door because evidently a new rule went into effect 3-4 weeks ago; all patrons must now be at least 30 years old. We were clearly not there to cause trouble, but rather enjoy a laid back dinner together while watching some sports on TV. This new "30 year" rule seems very arbitrary to me, and I believe the owner is digging the grave for his business here when he turns away returning customers. My fiance and I are both responsible, respectful people, but left feeling like teenagers that had just gotten caught trying to sneak a few beers. On the off chance Showtime Sports Bar is still in business by the time we're 30, we will not be back.

  Came just to order food and the bouncer refused to let me place a food order because im not 30 for another 4 more days Rediculous!!!! I'm already standing in the bar and there were 0 customers!!!! Hmmm Wonder why they have no customers!!!! Cuz they suck!!!

  Came here for the comedy show. Came early to have a few drinks for one of the girls birthdays and we were told it was closed for remodel. Nothing was listed on the website and we weren't told when we called for the comedy show. Everyone was just sitting around and there was no remodeling going on in the place. Staff was rude as well about is being disappointed and not being told ahead of time. If tickets werent already purchased we would have left. Wont be back.
