Upstairs drag show is fun, fairly traditional and not as boundary pushing as the shows at DIX. Downstairs dance area is something to experience. The dress code, cover charge and no bag policy is annoying.

Mike is such a great bartender. He not only knows the buildings history but can tell you everything about La Cage history. This place is full of history. If you want to learn the history ask for Mike. His D A B O M B!!

The owner was trying to flirt with me and he offered to buy me a drink and after I refused his drink. He then kicked me and friends out of the club after we refused his drinks. Spills all over floor, and it had a weird smell. Don't come to this place alone or the owner will pounce on you like a predator. Luckily my friends had my back. He could have did anything to those drinks had we accepted them.

I like going here. I had one excellent bartender who was just delightful otherwise I have always found the service a little disinterested? Who cares, though, because that is probably not why anyone is here. One doorman is also great, really made me feel better after an uncomfortable situation.

I have always had a good time with my group of friends, but the service here has been poor. The bouncers have always been rude. I am understanding and have tried to look past it and come for a good time, but on news years, going to the bathroom, there are signs on each stall stating only one occupant at a time. I completely understand this rule; however, my friend was sick, I left her in the stall alone for 10 minutes before I went in to help. Everything was fine until an employee came pounding on the door. We came out and were rudely shown the sign on the stalls. I explained my friend didn't feel well and he told us "to go outside and not feel well." The fact that I paid 15 dollars to get in and was kicked out for caring about my friends well being. I honestly will not be giving them my service ever again.

Worst service ever! Sat in an empty stool. Told by bartender that stool is taken by his X BF. Told to move. I DID, but my friend was offended and spoke up. He spoke up. And we got kicked out. Worst service ever. Never again. I will tell all fuk that place. If i could give it a negative rate I would. Doesnt even deserve a 1 star.

im not gay but i use to work on night clubs, and this is one of the best, you can be whatever you want without worries! nice place, nice music and nice people! smile and be happy, peace!
