I have been working with Pete's RV service department for many years now. Ken in the service department always make sure that the job gets done correctly and quickly. They are 1 million times better than those incompetent people over there at Campland in Burns Harbor. Campland are the same people who tell you that you have to wait 9 months to do a five-minute warranty job. The service dept at Pete's RV always worked with me to get me in very quickly.
Very helpful; took all the time we needed and a great price!!
Drove from Arizona to pick up camper and no problems. Everyone friendly and camper was as described.
I have to change my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. I had a few issues with my trailer and contacted Pete's to ask some questions. Left message with Rick (Sales) I was called back by the Sales Manager and told him my issues and was told I would be called right back. I never was. Maybe because I'm in another state they no longer care not sure. But if you live in another state and purchase from them keep this in mind.
If i could give 10 stars i would!!
Again Christy went out of her way for me.
I called the dealer i made the mistake of buging my rv from , just to ask a quick question about my hot water tank, its been well over a week ago I called him n he still never has returned my call.so i thought I would call petes rv an ask cuz they helped me befor with a big problem , Christy said she would find out an call me back..30 min later she did an told me the answers i needed,
Now thats the way u run a business!!☺
Wish i would have bought from Pete's rv.
Save ur self the trouble i been through an buy from Pete's cuz if u have any problems great ppl are right there an happy to help u!
Pete's RV in Indiana Servicewriter Christy and Parts Manager Nick went above and beyond to make our general service experience which included 3- 4 major points of repair (ie furnace, hydraulics etc.) A success in our limited window of time.
Checking some campers and trailors and saw some very nice options. Employees were freindly and free soda and coffee was served. I would definitely buy there and they have a parts store with a service dept so any replacement parts are easy to get.
Very good, parts dept . were very helpful. The. Sales staff weren't pushy, nice place.
We live really close to Pete's RV and were all packed up to take our Jayco out for a camping trip when we discovered that our trailer cable went bad.
We went to Pete's RV thinking it was unlikely that they would be able to help us out that day since weekends are typically super busy for RV centers. We were pleasantly surprised when their service guy said no problem, we'll get you on your way today. They spliced a new one together, tested it, and sent us along in short order.
In an industry where a lot of RV places won't service campers unless they were purchased there, we were very happy that Pete's accommodated us and even got us through on a busy day.
As we start our search for a bigger camper, Shaun in sales has been really helpful with giving us tips on what to look for.
Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a camper or to service one!
Started off great, found a camper we liked, emailed them about it, got everything set up, then the problems started. They were less than accommodating based on our work schedules, my wife had to take a vacation day and I had to lose a lot of sleep (3rd shift), to pick it up. They said they only did pickups by appointment Monday-Friday, and they couldn't give us the time we needed, so we settled for another. We had been emailing for awhile, and confirmed multiple times about the exact package and features we were getting with our camper, and my wife called when it was in to ask about those features and were assured they were on it. When we arrived, none of those were there. That wouldn't have been a deal breaker if we were set on this camper, but we would've looked around a bit more before making it final. Asked for additional things that we knew we needed to pay extra for, but they weren't included in the purchase order for the bank, so we only got the money for the camper, then they expected us to pay out of pocket for their mistake. We were able to drop the extras (hitch & jacks), because we brought our own after we saw the paperwork mistake. We got there early to get the paperwork going, and ended up sitting until AFTER our appointment time waiting. We had financing arranged through our bank, so when we got called up for paperwork, it literally took us less than 5 minutes to sign everything and give them the check. Overall, we were at the dealership for almost 4 hours. During this time, I was wanting to get on the road to avoid rush hour, that didn't happen. We were super excited to pickup our camper, but the experience overall ruined it. We were kind of tied into the deal by this point or we would've walked away from it. I would literally have paid the extra $2000 at our local dealership for the same camper for better treatment. I will say that they offered us a $150 gift card for the parts store to buy things, but that was literally on our way out the door, when all I wanted to do was get it home, and when we were leaving, we couldn't even find the sales manager that offered it to us. It didn't make up for the rest of the issues.
My wife and I just tried to walk the 5th wheel lot. First trailer we wanted to look at was locked. An employee came by and unlocked it. My wife asked if they were all locked, enployee said that one must have been missed, then he disappeared.
Well the rest were locked any no other employees could be located. We spent 20 minutes on the lot between looking for open 5th wheels and employees.
We own a motorhome. We had an issue with an appliance that was covered under an extended warranty. They got us in immediately, and contacted the warranty company. We needed a new appliance and they ordered it right away and got it installed for us in less than a week. Great service department, and excellent customer service all around. We will definitely use them in the future. Thanks for the great job Pete's RV!
half star. Cheap products, horrible service, and lack of customer service.
When purchasing my new 2015 Keystone Passport, I had done approximately 3 months of research on brands, quality, consumer comments, etc. I must say that Pete's was great when it came to sales, and the after the sale service is also to be commended. Even though I've had my camper to Pete's more than I ever wanted to for repair. The job has always been done quickly and in a professional manner. And to my standards. I'm not always the most patient person during camping season and the camper is in the shop, but I rest comfortably know that the job has been done correctly !
We had a great buying experience at Pete's RV. Our salesperson Brian Tom did a great job walking us through our options and helping us select the right camper for our family. Adeline in the finance was a pleasure to work with. After we selected our camper they had their service department walk through the entire camper from top to bottom and showed us every feature and explained how they worked. They even took the time to make sure that the camper was set up best to match my vehicle. The best compliment I can give them is if we ever decide to upgrade or change RVs, I will be going back to Pete's RV.
