Haven't had a bad meal here yet, but I've only been patronizing for about ten years. ;)

Service is good, food is good, place is always clean.

Worst experience was when the sick, sick lunatic at the next table ordered liver and onions and I had to change tables! LoL.

I will only order the salad bar and maybe an appetizer. The strip steak was cooked more than medium rare which was a disappointment. The salad bar was very fresh. The waitress Lori was excellent.

I worked here 3 times. They first time for over a year and I left. I acme back and then I was let go for school reasons, then I was called back last August. I was happy to come back. I'm the server with the braces on her knees. I want to let you know I was just let go. Yes. 4 day before Christmas! I admit I was leaving and I turned in a 2 week notice. That was last Saturday 12/17. Tony let me go. What kind of owner let's a server go 4 days before Christmas? And I was scheduled to work Christmas eve. I was depending on my tips for extra gifts. This is the same owner of Market Street Family Resturaunt in Mentor Ohio.

We've been eating here off and on for a few years and never had a bad meal until recently. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp dinner, which included fries and the salad bar. The lettuce from the salad bar seemed to be room temperature and wilted. The shrimp was over-cooked and mushy. The fries were under-cooked and greasy. I didn't eat most of my dinner, and was still hungry when I thought I'd try a piece of pie for dessert. I'd had their cobbler before which was always very good, so I expected the pie to be similar - that was an error. I ordered a piece of Blueberry pie, but the waitress brought me a slice of Cherry. I pointed this out to the waitress who said "no, that's Blueberry". She repeatedly denied it was cherry and insisted it was Blueberry until I took my fork and pulled out a big fat cherry. She then took the slice of pie and returned to the kitchen. For 5 minutes you could hear the waitresses and kitchen staff talking about the pie. She eventually returned and told me they were out of Blueberry, and asked if I'd like something else, so I ordered a slice of Coconut Cream pie instead. She returned with something that looked more like a blob of whipped cream on a plate than a slice of pie. She apologized for the way the pie looked and said I wouldn't be charged for it, which I wasn't. However, it as the absolute worst example of coconut cream pie I've ever had. The crust was almost non-existent, consisting only of loose graham cracker crumbs. The filling was obviously a cheap pudding and had a heavy fake coconut flavor. It was topped off with some whipped cream and a few sprinkles of shredded coconut. I took two bites and left the rest.

I'm not sure what's happened recently that's caused their quality to go downhill, but when the salad, entree and dessert in one meal are all bad, that pretty much ensures we won't be returning.
