New Boat owner here. I recently went to Perley's Marina because they are one of the only Mercury shops in MA. I got great answers to all of my dumb questions and even better advice about the things that I needed to know but wasn't aware of. A friendly family place with good service at a fair price.

This has nothing to do with Perlys but a guy by the name of Steve that had a guy and a lady and a baby with two dogs that gave me a ride in I would like to thank him and hopes he sees this but I couldn't find your bowline but I bought one and am sending it to your parents house but thank you so much for the help

I was very disappointed with the service at Perley's Marina. They're not organized and they didn't keep me in the loop. I brought my boat there to have it winterized, but they did not perform all the work I requested. When I asked them why certain things weren't done, they couldn't give me a reason, but instead offered excuses. What frustrated me the most was the fact they didn't bother to call me to ask if I preferred to have certain things done now or at a later date. Instead, they just decided it wasn't a good time for them to do the work I requested. They demonstrated to me that what the customer wants is not necessarily their priority. I would never recommend anyone to have work done at Perley's Marina.

Rented a boat from Perley's last week. All around great experience, easy rental agreement to understand, quick service, nice people, boat worked great. Staff gave helpful tip in advising that we look behind us when leaving Rowley River at entrance of Sound, to help us on return trip. I carefully noted landmarks at this spot and this was VERY helpful on the return trip as it was difficult to differentiate the Rowley River mouth from surroundings. Definitely will rent from this place again and I recommend it.
