I will be honest if I may, I have been on many charters all over the country, the mates worked harder than any I have been on, ready and willing to bait hooks and unhook fish, we caught lots of fish and had a great time,
having said that I feel that the captain could have been a little more sociable before the trip, and the boat could/should have been cleaner and more organized. I felt that for a bottom fishing charter the price should have been a little better. all things considered we had a great time, and brought back some great fish for the grill.

Pelican Adventures took my girlfriend and I deep sea fishing and we both had a great time . We caught plenty of assorted fish and left with more cleaned fish than we could eat in a single meal. The crew was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The boat was clean and well maintained. We would do it again.

Excellent fishing trip. There were 50 people on our trip.The large number wasn't a problem, the boat was large enough there were very few lines getting crossed. One of our group was handicaped and walked with a cane, he had no problem walking because the boat was smooth riding. The crew was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go again.

Great trip for the money. The staff was excellent and worked very hard untangling lines and taking fish off the hooks. They also filled the bait buckets without being asked. Excellent trip and highly recommend.

We booked the half day fishing charter on board the anticipation. It was double the price of a standard party boat trip so had high hopes! The boat was very old but very clean. Our captain interduce himself but I have no idea what his name was. He said three words the whole trip, a very boring personality to have as a captain. Now what made the trip decent is Nick, he is what charter boat people are supposed to be like. Very fun and knowledgeable. So anyhow we head out past the pier heads and the captain gives it throttle, holy slow. I thought maybe we should help paddle or something, it was painful. I opened up my GPS app and we we're doing a whopping 8.4 mph!!! Total fishing time was around 2-2.5 hours. We caught lots of the normal reef fish and Nick was there to help every step of the way.
Summary:
The Anticipation need to be turned into a reef, or repowered in the worst way ever
Nick needs to get his master's license and captain. The captain that ran our trip needs to stay in the office.
We had fun but I would save your money and just do a party boat. Would not do the semi private charter again.

Time on the open waters is always great. The captain, deck hands, and entire staff were fantastic and accommodating. Safety of the guests was number one concern. They were extremely helpful while we fished. The fish we caught were cleaned at the dock,
Packed in ice and sent home with us.

Had a blast fishing with Capt David and his mate Dan this past weekend on the Good Times! Dan was super helpful and fun, nice cool cabin, Capt let us fish the good holes to our hearts content. Can't wait to go out again for trigger season!

We went on the Good Times and had a great time! The captain and 1st mate were friendly and helpful. I've gone on a number of other charters in both the Gulf and Atlantic and this was by far the biggest haul and the best day. 6 hours of action and fun. We have already scheduled a return visit!

We went on the Vera Marie and were on a pretty full boat. Of course they offer more private tours if that is your interest. The experience was excellent.

The ride out to fish was a bit long but fishing was a great experience. The crew worked their BUTTS off. They prepare the bait, ice coolers to store your catch, take the fish off the lines, fix line tangles, and answer any question you have. On the way back they clean the entire boat and then filet your fish when you get back to Port. Take care of them. They really do deserve it. I couldn't believe how much work they had to do.

We caught a TON of fish and our group of 8 got to keep 11. The others were out of season at the time. :(

We got too see dolphins often as they were onto us ha! My only criticism was the food is just microwave stuff and snacks. That is not my style of eating. If you want better lunch you should bring some sandwiches or something. The galley was air conditioned but it wasn't doing a great job of cooling it to a comfortable level.

All in all it was a great day.

I was nervous at first never having done this before but the tour guides were very friendly & put us all at ease right away. The whole thing was just over an hour long, with great music playing, conversation, and of course parasailing. Once up in the air the view was spectacular & peaceful. I'd definitely do it again!!!

This was my first time deep sea fishing and had a blast. The Captain got us to the fish and the First Mate (Nick) kept our hooks baited. I took my teenage kids with me and they want to go again. I would recommend this company and will hopefully go with the in the future.

Staff very friendly everything was explained well. She took us to an area where we could find shells which was awesome. She later took us else where and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the overcrowding, there were other snorkeling companies there.

We had a wonderful snorkeling trip with Georgina and Kevin. We went out on the first trip at 8 am aboard the Harbor Lady. We were the first group of snorkelers there by a long shot and truely enjoyed the experience. We will use Pelican Adventures again the next time we visit.

Decided to do the snorkeling trip, it was perfect, they had a big group for the 11am but the 2 pm trip had only a few booked, so we booked that one and it stayed fairly small so the trip was very intimate with crew and services. We went to find shells and snorkeling, dropped anchor at a few different spots. Also the boat is completely covered on the roof, so it was nice to have shade when we were out on the water, very nice creature comfort for me cause I burn easy with no base tan.
We were completely satisfied with this trip and with the crew, Kevin and Georgiana made the trip A+ and they were very courteous and helpful to make our first ever snorkeling trip a memorable one with lots of fun. Kevin feeding the fish with peas was awesome to see under water. Thank you Kevin for being so helpful to our needs, the red life floater helped so much with Elizabeth not knowing how to swim. That enabled her to get started and she as off having a blast along with me. Cannot thank you enough for a Terrific time and thank you for your service to our country!!
Highly Recommend using this company, they have plenty of parking and it goes all the way down to the docks so you don't have to walk far, just a heads up!!!!
