I feel bad for all of the horrible things being said about the staff. did you know that they only get one day off a year? Christmas and that's it! Of course the physicians are happy and nice, they're liner their pockets with your money while their employees are forced to work 364 days a year! I'd be mean too :(

My daughter has been a patient at PAA for several years. She has been treated by many of the physicians there. We have always had a positive experience with the physicians & staff. The providers are very knowledgeable and attentive. The staff are very friendly and do their best to accommodate the patient, even working us in for an urgent H&P prior to surgery. We are very happy with PAA and would recommend them to others.

I have always been happy with the doctors and have been taking my now 9 yr old son and my 6 month old to PAA. I have been less than impressed with their office and billing staff. I just received my 1st invoice this month (May) for visits in January/February due to their new software. They are now telling me if I can come up with the full payment (over $300) by tomorrow (June 2nd), our well visit for our 6 month old will be cancelled. THEIR INABILITY TO MAIL INVOICES ON A TIMELY BASIS IS NOW MY PROBLEM!!! I will be looking elsewhere. This is something I cannot look over.

Incredible doctors. Staff is always quick to respond and willing to squeeze us in whenever we need help. I love this great group of doctors and so do my two children.

This is a great group of doctors and nurses! We followed them with our daughter from Willhite Drive when they moved. Wisdom as well as medicine. First meeting with our pediatrician: remember that the husband and wife is the primary relationship.

I really like the doctors and the nurses are great, but the customer service is awful!! The front desk folks and those who answer the phone are rude and just about every time I need to be assisted with something or make an appt., they sound as if they are irritated or as if I am interrupting them with my questions/concerns. Don't be discouraged to see the doctors they are excellent and I am very very pleased. However, be prepared to deal with some turn off customer service, bad etiquette, and attitudes with the front desk at the Harrodsburg Rd location, if possible visit the Eagle Creek Office - they get 5 stars!!

We love Dr. Ison! He makes us feel so comfortable and we trust him more than anything. This practice has been very accommodating during our after hours phone calls and have been great with our baby. Will continue here forever!

This practice lacks diligence, attention to detail and more than anything they lack empathy for families dealing with sick kids. We moved here from out of state and had all of our records transferred, but every time we come to office it's like their computer system does not allow them to see any medical history and no nurses or physicians have initiative to look at past history. It's pretty disappointing also nurse asked me at last visit if they had our permission to see any prior prescriptions prescribed to our children. I thought - of course!! That's why we transferred records etc. To summarize, perhaps if you have been a patient your entire life with this practice it would suffice, but I certainly do not recommend anyone go here if they have any sort of prior history with another practice.

The staff is also very dismissive if you are out of town and call in for advice or prescription. I've never been so disappointed in a medical practice and it makes me so sad to say that.

Update: we are still waiting for results to a urine culture done 5 days ago. The results are in but they don't have time to call. I just went by in person and they committed to FAX results by end of daymy daughter is sick, she is hurting and as a mom it's just heartbreaking to deal with this practice when you have a sick child. As soon as we can get copies of our medical records we will change practices. We have great insurance etc. I truly think they treat a large percentage of their patients with a lack of empathy. They don't seem to care about people at all. I'm glad some folks have had a good experience, this is just a snapshot of our experience that I think others should know as they decide which practice to join.

PRETENIOUS! Horrible experience with them! I have health insurance through ACA, I took my son here for his first apt after he was born, they lady in the billing office proceeded to tell me they wouldn't see my son because they don't accept Medicaid. JUST because she could see I had it. My son is covered under United Health Care on a private plan. I hung up and never went back. How horrible to assume because we are black and I have it that he would as well.

Been going to PAA for 18 yearsI WENT TO PAA as a child!
LOVE the Doctors. BEST Pediatricians in Lexington! HOWEVER the office staff is the WORST!!!! Not the nursesbut the staff! Especially in the business office. I was treated so badly by the ladies in business office that I removed all my children from the practice and went somewhere else. When I asked them if the doctors knew how they talked to their clients they replied "They know and support us 100%" . I was appalled! Sorry doctors at PAA but you need new staff employees ASAP!!!!!
