We took our ailing Prius in to see why it wasn't running properly; and, we had a frustrating experience with a super-busy service department.
A bit of the back-storywe've been taking our Toyota to Pedersen for service since we bought it there 11 years ago; and, we've always had superb service -- I mean seriously "above-and-beyond" service. Whether it was for an oil change, for Toyota Recommended Scheduled Maintenance, or for body-shop work, we've always felt like Pedersen was on our team. More importantly, our service experiences have always seemed fair and just and truthful. These are attributes you just rarely associate with mechanics and service departments. Pedersen was consistently helpful and prompt and sometimes crazily generous (providing small parts or new wipers or minor repairs free of charge). The service department was unfailingly professional every time we went there. Sowhat happened?
We called and left a message for the service manager, Matt, to see why we fell through the cracks. He called back promptly and was open to hearing our concerns. Fortunately, he did the ONE thing we had hoped for, and he did it with grace; he apologized. In addition, he said he'd find out right away what was wrong with our car and call us back. Guess what? He did. A short time later he called back. To make a long story short, he found out the mechanical issue, contacted Toyota because it was out of warranty, and because of our loyalty to Toyota and Pedersen, he got the cost of the very expensive part and labor waived. Unbelievable.
It is so rare to feel like you are valued by a big business. But, that is how we have always felt with Pedersen. Even in the midst of a troubling experience, they stepped up to the plate and did the right thing. We are customers for life.response / report this review -

Megan was a tremendous help in finding me a used truck. I had called asking for specific type of truck, low mileage and in good shape. Two days later she found EXACTLY what I needed, at a price under my budget. She was wonderful to work with and I’ll call her again for any future purchases.

Pedersen Toyota is hands down the best dealership we have ever been to. The experience from start to finish was quick and easy. Tanner was our sales guy and he was phenomenal! From the minute we walked in the door he was friendly and incredibly helpful. Brian, the finance manager got us one of the best deals we have every had on a vehicle and we can not express how grateful we are for that. The sales manager Todd, who we had spoken with many times over the phone, went above and beyond and helped us tremendously. And Brandon, the finance officer, made one of the hardest parts of buying a vehicle so easy. They, and the rest of the staff at Pedersen Toyota, did everything they could to make sure we got into the SUV we wanted. We will never go anywhere else to buy a vehicle after the experience we had here. And we will recommend this dealership to everyone we know! Thank you to everyone at Pedersen for helping us!

I had such an amazing experience at Pedersen Toyota. Glen was the best and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. I was nervous about buying my first car on my own and Glen made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. After buying my car he continued to make sure I was happy with my purchase and took care of some minor needs the car had. Anytime I need anything with my car, Glen will be my first stop. Anyone who needs a car, and the next time I need one, I will be heading to Glen's desk!

In looking for a used car for our teenage driver, we decided to see what Pedersen might be able to offer. Tanner & Mike were awesome to work with and found us a GREAT used car for our daughter. The process of buying the car was quick and easy. All of the staff we worked with was courteous and prompt with returning communication. The car was delivered to us in great shape - both the detailing and mechanically. And Pedersen worked with us on the price to make it reasonable and affordable. I have nothing but great things to say about our car-buying experience. And our daughter has been happily driving it for now two months now. My husband and I love the car so much we regularlly steal it from her so we can drive it! Thanks, Pedersen!

Everyone was very friendly. Glenn Manna helped me find a used car within my price range with low mileage and only one previous owner. Glenn was not your typical pushy salespersonthank goodness! He was able to meet with me around my work schedule. Allowed me to test drive the vehicle and allowed me to take the vehicle to my son, who is a mechanic. My son was very pleased with the vehicle's looks and performance, so I bought it! I am very happy with my new used Toyota and highly recommend Glenn Manna at Pedersen Toyota!

I'll be honest, I was not looking forward to buying a car because typically the whole experience is daunting and stressful. However, Emilio at Pedersen was beyond wonderful and I can't sing high enough praises about him! He is so personable and fun to talk to. He made sure to not put any pressure on me to buy a car (which is huge) and worked extremely hard to get the best deal for me (and succeeded!). I would send anyone and everyone I know to him because I know without a doubt they would be in the best hands! You will not be disappointed with Pedersen Toyota or Emilio.

Great experience dealing with the folks at Pedersen. We worked with Tanner he was great! No pressure. Let the car speak for itself and found the exact model with the exact features we wanted. Managed our time well. We negotiated ahead of time and everything was all ready to go when we showed up to sign the paperwork. Super fast friendly service. We heard good things about them before we went in and they lived up to their reputation. Would definitely recommend them to others.

My husband and I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Tanner and Bo went above and beyond! They worked so quickly and efficiently to get us and our children into a safe and affordable vehicle. They don't try and push you into a vehicle you don't like or a price you aren't comfortable with. There was no stress or pressure ! We will absolutely work with them again.

Wow, I don't know where to start. Tanner Highfill was absolutely the best car salesman I have ever worked with. I grew up in the car dealership industry and he by far is the most friendly, super easy going, patient, responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable salesman I have even come in contact with. Over a course of 2 months he answered every question I had quickly and with his awesome friendly demeanor. I couldn't make up my mind and once he got to know me and what I liked he was full of suggestions that helped tremendously.
The buy process was quick and easily and never at any time did I feel pressured to make a quick decision.

I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota from this dealership. From word of mouth I had heard good things so I took the 1 hour and 1/2 drive to check it out. The experience was awesome! Mr. Ford practice no pressure techniques when offering their inventory and let me work at my place always by my side to answer questions. I left ecstatic about my experience and my new car. Keep it up guys and a special thanks to Mr. Ford for the amazing experience with a stressful purchase!

Wayne made our second buying experience with Pederson as seamless and solid as possible. He was spot on with answers to my husband's technical questions and respected and listened to what it was I wanted out of my driving experience. I don't think I've ever had a sales person, in any industry, be so superbly responsive via e-mail and text and phone. He gave us the patience we needed over the nearly 4 weeks of test driving, talk of my trade-in vehicle, and financing questions and was ALWAYS available to us. Thanks for the professionalism and attentiveness Wayne!! We'll be back for my SUV retirement car in 10 years or so! Brian in Finance was also helpful and professional in the process.

Meagan made this the best car buying experience I've ever had. She was so easy to work with, and very considerate of my wants and needs. One of the things that assisted in making this experience great was her willingness to deliver my car to Castle Rock; as Fort Collins is a 5 hour drive one-way from my home. She arrived ahead of schedule and was prepared to finish the deal. After filling out the paperwork, she took me to the vehicle and explained all the technology to me and assisted in setting up some special features! When I arrived home and had a question about my car, I simply text her and she responded within minutes with the perfect answer! Meagan truly made my experience the best and I would refer anyone to her!
