4 hour delay on my train coming in. No effort to accommodate us whatsoever. Terrible experience. Will be taking the greyhound bus from now on, cuz even that was better than this.

Smaller than you'd expect for a city the size of Atlanta, but tidy and the staff was lovely.
The passenger drop off was across the street. You need to be heading south on Deering to pull in front of the wheelchair accessible main door.

The building is very old, but this adds to the charm of the place. The staff is helpful. The trains aren't always on time, but it's a pleasant experience.

Okay. Its okay. Personal are good. The passenger drop-off and pick-up is in a lot across the street, so if you have lots of luggage it can be a challenge to get all of it from your car into the station, especially if you are by yourself.

Here is where I took my first train trip. Although the train was late and the restrooms on the train smelled badly on our trip up to NYC The return trip was nice. The staff was nice as well both on train and at station.

Long ago was an auxiliary station, now the only Amtrak station, get there early, take the peach Marta bus as there is no parkingget the bus at arts center, better to kiss-ride there, too! Lotsa luggage, bring a friend to the station, that's what friends are for!

There is indeed a very large parking lot at the Atlanta Amtrak station, but it is not in front of the building (that lot is tiny and intended for taxis and drop off only). Madison Warren-Coombs obviously missed the directional signs for the parking lot, which is easy to do because the station is located at a very busy intersection.The Amtrak parking lot is across the street just behind the station. Beautiful building.

Just a tip: Amtrak raises its prices (in my case by $20) when you view an itinerary on their website and later come back to buy it. I solved this issue by having a friend put in the same itinerary on another computer (and voila, it was $20 cheaper). It also worked to put my browser in incognito mode. I know that airlines do this, too. Don't get tricked!
