Your one stop shop for boats and firearms. Love this place!
Great selection of boats and guns. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Coffee was old. I would return
Salesman was not helpful, insulted the fact I had been on the internet and had done my homework as a consumer. If you are a consumer that is uneducated about the product you want and are willing to do as they say and believe everything they tell you, this is he place for you. Otherwise, stay away.
I took my Mercury outboard motor to Pauls for two reasons : it was stalling and because I could not lock the tilt mechanism into place when pulling the prop out of the water to sail. I patiently waited a week and a half before the motor was even looked at. when I got the call that it was fixed, I was charged 145.00, for the repairs then was allowed to get my motor from the service area. I discovered that the tilt lock was still not fixed, the prop was still falling and not locking into place when the motir was pulled up. The young man who supposedly fixed this problem acted surprised. He then took a flat head screwdriver and poked around the gears and tightened a screw, was able to pull up the motor a few times and lock it and told me it was fixed. I expressed doubt, because of the quick fix and not getting to the underlying problem which I suspected was that the gears were not engaging (possibly stripped ). It just didn't feel right. But I was assured that it was fixed, I took my motor back to my boat. The following Wednesday as I was preparing to race, neither my crew nor myself could lock the motor into place when pulling up the prop, once again. We missed the race, as we backed the boat into the slip and tried to fix the problem. I called Jason the service manager and told him that I was still having problems with the tilt lock and asked if someone could please come to the Marina as it is just down the street from Pauls and take my motor back and fix the issue as I already paid for it. Not only did I not get an apology, he informed me that " we don't do that" and that I was going to have to pay another service call after taking the motor back off my boat and bringing it in again myself.
I am disgusted at how I was treated esp. ripped off . I will never do business with Pauls Marine again. I discovered that many others at my marina have been treated badly at that place as well and took their business elsewhere.
I never write reviews but Pauls has taken superb care of me since buying my boat last year. They handled the maintenance, stood behind there work and explained things to me that I wasn't familiar with. Jason does a fantastic job of taking care of customers.
I took boat in for service, the guys in service department are awesome,i turned to them cause there close to my house and a friend of mine has been there for service, Jason in service took care of me and my issues..Thanks Jason and pauls marine for your service need repairs give these guys a shout..
The gun dealer behind the counter on Saturday, March 11th, was rather rude to me and my brother. We approached the counter and waited patiently to be answered. However, the person behind the counter even walked over RIGHT NEXT to us and looked us in the eyes, without even saying a word. That's right, nothing, not a single word. What's even better is that he just started to walk away and act like we weren't even existant. We assumed nothing out of the normal was going on, so we proceeded to ask him a question about a firearm on the wall. My brother thought it was a PTR91, but the person gave a rather smart remark and gave us the correct name. The guy wasn't smiling, and he was rather rude to us. Also, the prices here for certain guns are overpriced compared to what you can get at other stores. Its either $250, or $350 for .22LR Single shot rifles that I could find for other stores that go for $125 or $160. The gun dealers appearance was rather grimy and had a unprofessional look to it. I assume the people who run this place are good people, but honestly, we didn't deserve to be treated like this within your facility.
I stopped in here to see what they were about and was real pleased. It was a small shop but had a variety of items. I purchased a holster and well pleased with the purchase. I do plan on returning as they have several guns I wish to purchase. I would highly recommend this store to visit especially if you like to talk.
I get my mercury parts from here, they are always friendly and helpful, well stocked with great prices most of the time. Had to order some stuff for my 79 mercury 50, but they always got it quickly. One snafu on a pump kit, but they overnighted the right part on their dime and swapped me out. They always listen to my stupid stories, and give me free advice. Will continue to do business with them.
I have only been here for the gun shop. Nice selection and pretty decent prices. New and used. Stop by and take a look.
