The gentleman at the front desk who took our information was eating while checking us in. The physicians assistant was texting on her phone while she was asking us questions. They took blood and THEN registation came to take license and insurance but said it was ok if we didn't have it today?!So that means, that someone else can use our names and social security number and receive treatment under our names?!The nurse didn't listen to our concerns and made assumptions without testing even at our requests so we are stuck with a bill and will have to find a new hospital. I'm sure upper management will comment on this "We are looking into it" but if it wasn't already for the poor management, we wouldn't have this problem.

The staff was polite and friendly, but my problem is with their billing/price gouging. All they did was give me a shot and a couple of prescription pills for a severe gout attack. Which the only reason I went to the ER for was in hopes of being able to stop the attack as I could not afford to be sent home from work that night. After finding out my insurance would only pay little to nothing, they started hounding me to pay over $1000 at Christmas time simply for receiving some pills and a shot. Seems to me to be a Complete over-charge for patients. I find it to be completely unacceptable. I will never return to this hospital again, regardless of how much pain I’m in. I don’t recall other ER visits being this expensive at a couple of other hospitals between the few times my wife or I have had to go to the ER.

My mother went to the er after a vehicle struck her and was not treated properly. Dr refused to give her pain meds even through she complained of chest neck and back pain. The nurse said and I quote, "he's not going to put his license of the line" as if my mother was some type of drug addict. The er charge nurse also hung up in my face when I called and complained. This used to be our go to hospital but no more. My mother was forced to treat herself. I wont recommend no to go to this place.

Have been to this hospital many times for small things so i assumed it was a good hospital. One day I ended up cutting my hand real bad, severing a tendon in the process. I was bleeding so much, my girlfriend thought we should go to the closest place or I could die. When we arrived they did a good job getting me seen fast but here is the kicker - I didn't have insurance. The doctor just straight up told me they didn't have the resources to fix my tendon. They gave me a referral to somewhere I knew didn't help non insured patients and I told them this fact. I was told to call the health department and a bunch of other agencies that can help and if that didn't work they would send me to a different hospital. The problem is there is a short timeline to get tendons repaired. We're talking less than two weeks (per the doctor). Now some of the places they referred me to are great help for the non insured but they can take a while to get things going. I couldn't get back in touch with the original doctor that promised to send me somewhere else. When I talked to the other staff they were unwilling or not able to send me to a different orthopedist.

So long story short. Because I was unable to make it to a real hospital I am left with half of my hand having limited mobility and a finger that completely doesn't work. Remember this story people and make sure to go somewhere that can make you whole again, irregardless of your situation.

We are here now. I normally have a great experience here. Its the only one i will go to. But not today it took me a day and a half to convince my husband to come get checked out. And he only did cause his pain got so bad he couldn't stand it anymore. He's was having sharp pain in his upper back shoulder chest and down his arm.THE NURSES are the WORSE I have ever had she has an additude rolled her eyes. And I had to ask what they were doing because we were being treated like we are the dirt on there shoes. I am FURIOUS..and you know he has 2 insurance plans so it ain't like they will not be paid all of bill will be covered by insurance company..we will not come back after this.. we are human beings. And should be treated as such.

Normally this is a great hospital, but today my husband went and they treated him like he was a drug addict! Very disappointed! Shame on y'all for treating people like that!

My sister fell down 15 steps and it knocked her out. I walked in the door and no one in front of us. The intake was fine. The nurse taking my sisters blood was a clueless ,very unprofessional idiot. Im trying to coach my sister into trusting this incompetent idiot and she did. That dam woman nurse dug in her are for 5 minutes. My sister was very brave and as I watched her unsure this horrible act I couldn't take it anymore. My sister finally sassy I refuse treatment and i said to her,"I'm ready when you are". I couldn't believe it! The head nurse comes in and before we could even get a word in the explain how what was going on ,the hateful,"very unprofessiontional

My wife had rushed me to the ER because i would become unresponsive for minutes at a time and vommitting after a long hot day at work. Once we got there we waited only minutes to register to get treatment. The ER was very busy that afternoon so the wait took a little longer but that is understandable due to the amount of people who were there before us. The time came and they brought me in to check vitals. The people who brought me in were very nice to me and my wife. I was admitted into ICU that night and thru the next day and everyone there was very nice also. They moved me back to a regular room for a few more days and that team was extremely nice to me and my wife. My wife never left my side and the teams at Parkridge made her feel welcome and comfortable in every way. I really appreciate the fact that people in this hospital care about their patients and I believe that everyone we dealt with treats their patients the way they want to be treated. Thank you so much for the care your hospital shown us. We appreciate the level of professionalism the team at Parkridge has.

I love this hospital. Very sweet staff. Very quick, and so helpful. Both my children were born here, and anytime they are not feeling so good, all the nurses are amazing. They have seen my cry multiple times and are so comforting during horrible scares with my son breathing. They taught me how to give him breathing treatments and let us stay until we feel 100% confident about going home. The only suggestion that I have is more bilingual staff and more welcoming to patients that may not speak the same language. Anytime that I come in with my family members, if they cannot communicate easily, the staff in the front are pretty rude and almost ignore any questions they may ask. On two occasions, I have heard the staff gossip, make snide remarks and stare at people I have accompanied to the hospital. :( What can you do about that? I just smile and give them every reason to feel bad about it with our kindness. All in all. Great hospital. You guy's are awesome.

Went in with pain in my back and legs, they ran a urine test and told me it was fine. They treated me like I was just there for pills and we're rude and could care less that I was in pain, then when the doctor finally came in after hours of waiting she said I was fine and could leave, so I said well you haven't addressed the pain I'm in, when I asked her what I should do if they are not going to help so said and I quote "you could exercise"so next time my back and legs hurt I will just get up and do jumping jacks and wind sprints instead addressing the problem

I went to this Er because everyone told me it was a great place. I feel like I was lied to. Don't get me wrong the wait time was exceptional but that was the only thing. I have had a headache/migraine for 3+ weeks and have not been able to get rid of it and still have it. When I was called back to the triage area there was 5 different nurses in the room, why there was that many nurses, I have no clue. The one who took my vitals was the only nice one, the nurse who was asking me questions and doing my paperwork was just overly rude, made me feel like I was a big inconvenience. When I got back to a room my nurse was very sweet and attentive, the doctor seemed to care and be concerned at first, they sent me for a CT scan and when the results came back the doctor changed her entire attitude. She was snappy and had an attitude and twisted what I had told her into a lie, when I tried to explain everything again she just kept saying " you needed to talk to your doctor" over and over again when I tried correcting her. She just sent me on my way and now here I am still in pain and not wanting to go to another Er when the one that was supposed to be the best treated me like that.
