Reasonable slip fees, restroom/shower facilities, accommodates live-aboards, pump out once a week, wifi, community building, direct access to Caloosahatchee and Gulf of Mexico, very friendly people.

I lived at the marina before the new management, and just past the change. We seemed to be some of the people they we're using to make an example of. The contract, which was huge and seemed to include everything anyone has ever put into a marina contract, specifically seemed in contrast to everything going on at the place The insurance with the marina as primary benefactor, no cooking anywhere but within the boat even though there are barbeques, no working on boats other then very minor cosmetics The management seemed very nice, but were always playing middle management and doing a "well get back to you" with just about everything. The maintenance man, Clarence, and a few of the other people living there are the only thing I really miss. Though the remote location was nice, it wasn't a reason to stay! Wish the old company held on to it Last manager, Ken, really helped make the place a hot to be at, and encouraged a feeling of community and cooperation, too bad he left.

I frequent this marina and have to say: It is NOTHING like the other reviews described! Rates have not changed, they do not have any luxurious amenities, but I go to enjoy some relaxation on my boat in sunny SW Florida. One of its best amenities is simply its location, at the end of the Orange Grove Blvd past the quiet residential neighborhoods. I don't hear any traffic noise! Also the new marina manager could not have been any more accommodating.

Paradise marina was a decent, safe place until the new management took over in March 2012. WIFI never works, prices are increasing without any additional services. NO Security! some partier moved in changed the place. They will park anything on the lot for a price. There are campers and what look like carny vans. The current management company is trying to operate the marina like an apt bldg. 30 page lease for a month to month agrement. Slip minimums charges that exceed some of the slips capacity. 32' min charges and some slips can only fit a 30' boat. The manager can only offer lip service and just tells you what she thinks you want to hear and follows with no action regardless of her verbal communications. I would look around before you decide. There are still some decent liveaboards there but I dont see them staying long.
