My wife and I love this place. I always bring my Mom when we are at the Lake which is often. The food and staff are the best. Beer selection is awesome. We typically come on Saturday evening. Typically they have live music. Usually the music volume is bearable but tonight Grayson Wood is performing. He’s good but ITS TOO GD LOUD! Never go when he’s there if you want to enjoy a great meal and conversation with family. If you do bring earplugs and forget about any conversation.

I usually don't write about restaurants, but this warrants a review because of a good couple of experiences here.

Once we had our pizza, we asked a staff member if we could have a lime soda (since it wasn't on the menu). He said "we don't know how to make it but tell me the ingredients". We told him that all it required was soda, lime pieces, a pinch of salt and cumin powder and that it is very good for digestion. He said all those ingredients were free at the bar and fixed it up for us. Not only did we enjoy it, but even the cooks and bartenders made some for themselves and liked it! And a couple of folks at the bar overheard us and they ordered a glass of it too. We were told that you guys would seriously consider putting it on the menu.

But the best part was when we visited Pappo's almost a year later and asked for the soda. They immediately recognized us and fixed the drink for us!! It truly is a family owned chain when you are recognized by people a year apart just because of the one experience. Everyone who works there are just really nice people.

Some of the best pizza I've had and they have a huge selection of beer. But the service here is beyond terrible. It's been bad on multiple occasions so I won't be going back.

Pizza, beer and atmosphere was great! Loved the huge selection of beers on tap including a Michigan beer bell two hearted ale which is one of my favorites. Service was slow and he wasn't very personable but will definitely be back for the awesome pizza!!

Food is amazing! Service was slow during the lunch rush. We will definitely be back. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Great selection of draft beer. Loved the sampling of many. Staff was friendly.

It was a very busy evening as it rained all weekend which kept a lot of people indoors. The line stretched out the door so it took some time to get us seated. However, I was somewhat impressed with how fast they were actually able to get us seated despite the place being packed. I was part of a group of about 20 people, so our wait times were longer than normal. We all ordered personal pizza’s and it took about an hour to get our food. The food was excellent, but the Diet Coke was weak.

The servers were friendly and efficient and the place appeared to be clean. They had live music that I was worried would drown out our table conversations, but they kept the volume at a decent level and the musicians were very good. I will certainly be back.

If you are looking for good craft draft beer selection around Lake of The Ozarks, Pappo's is the spot. Stopped in for a few rounds while visiting and was not disappointed. Great service. Can't comment on the pizza as we did not eat.

WHAT A DISAPPOINMENT ordered online caesar salad with chicken.not difficult. I pick up the order, get back to work, NO Chicken. Ok, I think, I will just call and get the cost of the chicken credited back to my card but guess what???? THEY cant Refund online purchases. I am two blocks from them and I ask can they bring me the chicken? No, too busy.there were two other people in there! So I get a "gift card" for the price of some chicken breast, that I have to make a special trip for :-) NOT A GREAT WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER

Awesome atmosphere. Cool little off the beaten path. Food is great. Beer selection is wonderful. Service is friendly and prompt. Very impressed. Will come back again.

This is the kind of local place that makes a vacation spot great. Fantastic pizza, as good as I have had in any town or big city. GREAT beer selection. Wine was a little short on selection but it's a pub so beer is the thing to order. Even the salad was premium restaurant quality. The service matched the food and the cookies for dessert looked amazing although we didn't order any the night we went. All around great place and definitely earns 5 stars. Note that it is probably tough to get into after 6pm as seating is limited and it definitely is a popular spot.
