Loved the outdoor dining in winter, made possible by the outdoor heaters. The service was excellent; not intrusive but readily available. The food was really good; bacon, egg, sausage and cheese omelette was perfect - not a hint of oilyness from all the meats. All around a great place for breskfast.

Best breakfast and lunch spot on the island! It's where the locals go. Great staff, and friendly service. Make sure you try the she crab soup.

Food was great. Staff was attentive and very friendly. This restaurant is very dog friendly. Ate the blueberry stuffed french toast (not on menu) it was a special. Highly recommended if you want to ruin your diet ;)

We ate here on a recommendation from many others. I've read other reviews complaining about the service, but our experience was the total opposite. We had several waitresses taking care of us and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the special - shrimp and grits, which was delicious, but my only complaint would be that not all the shrimp were totally deveined, but that's just getting nitpicky. My husband ordered crab cakes benedict, as someone else had told us they were the best on the island. It certainly didn't disappoint! My son had a blueberry pancake that was the size of the plate and full of blueberries. We will definitely be coming back whenever we're on the Island!

One of my favorite breakfast places on the island, apparently it's everyone else's too! There'll probably be a a wait but it's worth it!

Fun, fresh, and fabulous EVERY time we come! The absolute best breakfast in this entire South East region 5 out of 5! We drive, weekly, from Pooler GA. to Hilton Head for nothing other than breakfast and coffee at this place! LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Bring your friends and family to share the love and pass it on 😉

We arrived 1 hours before it closed on Sunday and were seated quickly although it was nearly full. The only positive from the experience is that the breakfast meals we ordered were all quite good. The downside is that the table was not clean and most importantly we were abandoned by our server and so we had to abandon all of our requests. The server was absent for the entire meal and then reappeared only to sit down in a different room with other employees. In the end we had to track down someone else to to get the bill and leave.

Wonderful experience! Wait staff was courteous and attentive with food coming very quickly A little too quickly. My poached egg was very under done but everyone else's food was perfect. We would happily return!

Smaller, quaint, off the main drag from everything else. Great food and service (even on a Sunday morning on parade day). Indoor and covered outdoor seating and they provide blankets on those cooler days. Palmetto Bay Marina still recovering from Hurricane Matthew, but good to see the local businesses thriving.

Great food and wonderful staff. They really will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and taken care of even when the place is packed. (Which is often) The eggs Benedict, French toast and country fried steak are my favorites.

Everything was excellent. I got biscuits and gravy and my wife had the banana rum pancakes. Everything was top notch, and huge portions! The service was excellent as well. EVERYONE was hustling around. Just a great experience!

For all of the many years we have been vacationing on Hilton Head Island and the myriad of restaurants we have visited, Sunrise Cafe is a MUST GO TO every time!! Friendly service, a true southern hospitality atmosphere and excellent food awaits every customer. The Eggs Benedict are amazing and my all time favorite!
