This place is dreamy AND nostalgic! And that’s just the decor and atmosphere. Servers are super patient and helpful. I enjoyed a nice deli sandwich- simple and tasty. But the ice cream was another level AWESOME! I ordered a waffle cone of Savannah Socialite. And my heavens- it made me clutch my pearls!! Tasty, tasty, tasty! Creamy, sweet happiness in a cone. And the cone was fresh! A must-visit while in Savannah.

Good ice cream and adorable atmosphere. Expect to see a line outside if it's warm out, the line does move pretty quickly through but there is a wait. We probably waited 20 minutes to get inside and then get our ice cream. Good ice cream though and they have some interesting flavors to try! Definitely a iconic Savannah spot so worth stopping by! :)

The staff were great, they were so friendly, and the ice cream was delicious! We did not have to wait in line long. There was a large family in front of us but they are the only ones we had to wait on. When I sampled one flavor, the employee asked if I had any allergies, I thought that was nice. We had a hot fudge sundae and banana split (no pineapple, extra strawberry instead). Everything was perfect!

Truly homemade, amazing selection of flavors, fresh waffle cones. not easily melt good for hot or summer days. So delicious. Some flavours are a bit pricey, but definitely worth your money.

Homemade ice cream with many original recipes from 1919. They will let you sample anything you want. Everything we sampled was delicious. The service was awesome. Even though we had to wait in line, they made sure we had water and a menu for our perusal. I ordered a scoop each of the mocha chocolate chip and the chocolate chocolate chip. It was probably the best ice cream I've ever had. Plus the movie memorabilia inside was fun to look at also. Two thumbs up!

Great place, very nostalgic, but the line was out the door around 10pm! The ice cream is good but rather pricey. Its a fun place to bring friends for a spot of fun or to bring the kids for an adventure! The staff is upbeat and friendly and one of the reasons you should come back!

We stopped in today because we read about their doggy sundaes in another review. When we arrived the line was out the door, and halfway down the sidewalk. This is our second trip to Savannah, and I have NEVER seen a line like this anywhere else in town, so I knew it had to be good. Despite the crowd, we were served quickly, and the entire staff was very friendly. The owner brought menus outside so we could look at them in line, and even stopped to talk to the customers. My server, Amanda, was helpful and efficient. It was definitely worth standing outside for. The banana and the strawberry ice creams had fresh fruit, and a great homemade taste. My favorite, though, was the honey almond ice cream that uses honey from the Savannah Bee Company (another place you MUST see in Savannah).

Leopold's ice cream is stupendous. They offer a plethora of flavors and include the use of natural fruits as well. They have many, and I mean many, hard working servers working as quickly as they possibly can and they still serve with huge smiles on their faces. This place is extremely popular, but even in the heat they do have someone walking around offering you water! The proportions are fairly large and the price for a scoop is pretty cheap for such a famous ice cream parlor. The inside, while being extremely hectic and busy, is very well maintained and clean. They offer seating both inside and outside as well.

During the first trip my wife I came to Savannah, Leopold was an every day treat. This is our second trip and again an every day treat. In short review, the best place for ice cream in Savannah, old school feel, real flavor.

Come to enjoy, but you will have to wait in line. Well worth the wait.

Great ice cream not the best, to get the best you need to go to CT for Shady Glen, Salem Dairy, or the famous UCONN Dairy. The line is long most days so prepare to wait but again the ice cream is delicious w/ a lot of flavors to choose from plus sorbet. My personal favorite ice cream is their Tutti Frutti. And they make food as well. I recommend going at least once.

Definitely worth the wait if you're ever in town. Excellent ice cream and food, with an incredible and friendly staff. One time they even gave me free ice cream because I'd been hit by a car that day and was stressed! Lovely people.

The ice creams had a very distinct taste. The variety of flavors available were too good. The staff was very polite. We had to wait in queue for 20 mins. However it was certainly worth waiting for.

This is a must do in Savannah. The butter pecan ice cream is fantastic! They let you try flavors if you would like. You are going to have to wait in line but it's well worth it. Friendly staff and very helpful.
