Service was great. The pizza choices were awesome and a reasonable price.
Pizza excellent. Restaurant dirty floors, dirty tables, dirty seating. Overstaffed and not customer focused. Ice cream case piled high with coats, dirty rags and a can of Pledge. Have to wait on yourself even with all the staff. To bad really as the pizza was great. I even thought I may have to take my own dirty dishes to the back and wash them. So sad.
My family and I came here for a staycation and to visit friends. The food here is decent.
However, we were severely disappointed each time we came here this week. First, the over the counter register decided to swat a roach with a menu and then step on it. After a while, we saw another next to a table, which my son picked up and I snapped a photo. (See picture)
Second, they missed our order. The second time they missed an entire cheese pizza and salad. They gave us the pizza and salad when we came back later, but my daughter was deeply saddened that she had to wait.
Unfortunately, we won't be returning anytime soon.
Arrived and the place is pack tonight which shows me the food is probably good. Ordered pizza and wings. I am not a pizza person but this was really good and the price's are great. The cashier was really friendly .
Marinara sauce incredible, cheesy bread good, thin crust pizzas good and not greasy!!! Calzone at first looked burnt but it was actually very good after the first bite. Service needs help, had to pay first and tip without ever tasting the food or experiencing the service. If you had a trained wait staff you could make a killing because your food is quality. First time visiting this place coming from Houston, would come back again!
VERY AVERAGE. Where to start. The good: a quaint well decorated cafe. The food fair is a little pricey even for a so called "artisan" pizza place. A large pizza will run about $15.99 and for that you get a 12" cracker thin crust pizza that is short on sauce, cheese and pizazz. In fact, the pizza is completely unremarkable. Granted, the menu offers interesting pizza toppings such as cashews and cranberries. So maybe one of those exotic flavor combinations might be more exciting but given the lack of the basics (sauce, cheese, crust) I doubt it.
The BAD: The place isn't well maintained. There were food particles on the tables, floors and on the seats of the booths. Napkins on the floor and under tables. I would expect this from Cici's pizza but for the price paid here, it's really unacceptable. Considering I visited at 2:40 in the afternoon, with only two other patrons in the place and staff standing around the place should have been spotless. When it comes to food I take attention to details seriously. If the public area of the stoor looks dirty, I hesitate to think what the food prep area looks like. To the establishments credit a girl did come out to start cleaning a few of the tables offwith Pledge. I'm pretty sure the health department requires something a little stronger.
Verdict: nothing new here or special. The pizza is average at best with slightly above average prices. I see no reason to come back or recommend this place to anybody.
Never been to Palio's before. We decided to give it a try today. Really nice and clean atmosphere. Friendly staff. Started out with the Spinach and Artichoke dip. It is the best I've ever had. A nice big bowl of cheesy goodness, not a tiny little platter bowl that other restaurants do. Got the King pizza. Love the crust. Thin with a cracker-like crispness along the edges. Toppings are high quality. Would definitely go back!
Best pizza in the area great customer service. Will never order pizza anywhere else
Had "The King" pizza and we loved it. The crust was thin and crispyjust delicious!
Seems like every Palio's is different and this is one of the better ones. I think they all have different owners. I typically get pizza which is pretty good, not great. My wife likes the pasta and BYOB is nice for people who don't want to pay for restaurant wine prices.
Has the best gluten-free pizza we have found. Including Restaurants in Oklahoma. The best around.
Fantastic pizza option.
Everything but the salads are very tasty.
