Great and inexpensive campground, but you get railway noise given the proximity to the railroad. Good place to stop along the ride down the GAP trail
Camped here while riding the Gap trail. Nice clean restrooms/showers. Pleasant grounds and nice picnic tables. $7 a person at that time was very reasonable . Take earplugs as the train tracks are busy nearby.
I attended a wedding there, other than the no cellular service and being right next tk train tracks, it was Great! I didn't really explore the grounds too much but what I saw was beautiful.
Outdated 3 bedroom home with a bunk house. Stayed in the bunk house area, which is a converted attic with a box fan for extra cooling! To be fair, it does get air conditioning, but still gets warm and stuffy. A stand alone air conditioner would be a better option. The twin mattresses are old and lumpy, and the pillows should be thrown away. They're pretty disgusting. Disappointed in the accommodations considering how expensive this place is to rent. $50 foam mattresses and Walmart pillows would be an inexpensive, welcome upgrade. Can't comment on the 3 bedrooms except that 2 have a private bathroom. The kitchen is large, well stocked, and good for crowds. There are several washers and one dryer in the basement. There are 4 full baths, but if someone is in the upstairs one, it cuts off access to/from the bunks. There is a busy train track 20ft out front. Luckily they don't blow the whistle, but it's still quite loud. Nice access to the river and close to hiking/biking/paddling
Nice campground with bath house. Perfect for primitive tent camping. There is a train track right next to the campground that is very loud through the night. Doesn't bother me though.
I'm only writing this review because it brings up such memories for my grandparents owned this house back in the 80's. Grandpa Nace will surly be missed.
This place was awesome. Really nice and cozy. Owners are great cool people. Train tracks are very close to the property and trains come relatively often. Didn't really bother me, but I can see some people not liking it
Its a great place nice trail to the river it is about 3 miles from town or so i had a great experiance during the kayak races but there are trains at night
Attended a wedding at the location. Had a nice view by a river. Bathrooms were decent. 3 trains passed right by in the span of a few hours though.
Everything you need to have a quiet getaway. Clean and beautiful. Great yard for children, picnic area and away from the hustle of life. Had a wonderful stay and a great breakfast. We will definitely visit again. Cell service is limited, wifi was fine. Dan and Robin were friendly and kind. Great eatery, called The Lucky Dog had amazing food. Peaceful and pleasant stay!
