Very friendly staff all the way around, we did the middle yough which was a great float trip for younger kids or first time rafters. Equipment was in great shape.

My boyfriend and I booked a day on the Upper Yough for the White Water dam release - overall we had a great time and our instructor, Joel, knew what he was doing and was very pleasant. Although we did have a very good time I would not recommend this company for families or anyone who is not over the age of 21. There were no videos, or real explanations on how to react on the water properly if something were to happen and while explaining the person was very bland. It took about 40 minutes to arrive to the site and while in the car I wasn't very entertained- the instructor did try to hold conversation but his voice was so light that in the back you couldn't really hear him anyway. After our we were done the trip and still on the water some of the guides started drinking alcohol and asked all of the rafters if they wanted anything. I found it very offensive and unprofessional. Over the phone they said a meal would be included after the trip but it wasn't a very diverse, or filling meal at all. My boyfriend and I still ended up having to go and get something else to eat. This was a good time and I would go back but I would never pay $125 again for the trip. $100 if that.

We had a fun day out on the middle with Garrett and Jack. Garrett was a superstar and I would advise a tour with him on your boat even for the middle section. I would advise the fully guided tours if you are beginners like us. We had ages 6 to 76 on our raft and Garrett handled it all like a pro.

We had an excellent raft trip and experience! Laurel highlands seems to be the premier outfitter at Ohiopyle. Noah was a fantastic guide, highly recommend!

Went White Water Rafting with them this past weekend, and had an amazing time! The water wasn't as high as when we went three years ago, but we still had a blast. Their guides are always very well trained in safety, and are very friendly and fun to be around. We did the upper yough and lower yough in duckies. I would recommend this outfitter to anyone-- lots of adrenaline, but I also felt safe in their hands if anything should happen, very enjoyable experience.

This is one of the best rafting i experienced and risky. check the level of rafting you want to do, before you book. We went through level 3, 4 and 5 rapids. Guides (safety crew) are coming on kayaks guiding us very well. it went for 6 hrs.One of the memorable rafting.

We have taken whitewater trips with Laurel Highlands several times and have always had wonderful times. The guides are very good, and they make it fun and interesting by their humor. However, there humor is always dirty, and this is why I only give them 4 stars.
I still recommend them for your next whitewater trip on the Youghiogheny River.

Very well run rafting operation. I hope to bring my niece & nephew here at some point. Very professional guides with years experience. Everyone is kind and some even have some humor for the day. If your planning any rafting or outdoor activities. These folks are the best option.

Amazing staff. The guided tour is fantastic. Their guides are at every step of the way helping and directing. For first timers would recommend going with their guided tour. Would go again for sure.

I went with a van of friends for a fun bachelor party weekend. We had a blast! Our group was split up into a few boats, which created a bit of a competition. Our guides were very helpful. Our tour group included about 15+ rafts, but were nicely spaced out before going through some challenging areas. The river had some calm areas we could jump out to cool off, since it was in the summer. There are a bunch of trails, swimming hopes and hiking to explore all around the area. Very cool! I have been looking to go back for a few years now! It's a hike from Philly-metro, but totally worth a weekend road trip!
