A really fun place to walk around and get a bit to eat, or do some people watching. There is always some locals playing there music or selling goods there too. You can do some fishing from the boardwalk too. The rides are not too big, but still a lot of fun for kids. Always something fun to see and do here.
It can definitely be busy during the high times of year. Parking was $10.

Fun, but a little expensive for what it is. It's probably a great deal if you're a local and you do the annual pass. The kids enjoyed the rides. The tacos from the taco shop were really good for fair food.

Beautiful setting, fun things to do. Everything is quite expensive - ice cream cone for $6+, very short roller coaster ride for $8.50, etc. Great view of Santa Monica beach and the coastline. Parking is available very near the beach and pier but it’s not obvious when approaching where to find it. $10 for parking seems reasonable but it’s per entry - no in and out privileges.

Between the ice cream shops, novelty games you can never win, rides and quirky street performers, the Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is retro Americana entertainment at its best!

I love coming here with my husband for a sweet ride on the Ferris Wheel and bringing friends from out of town. There are beautiful views, interesting vendors and a whole lot of tourists. It's exciting to see visitors experience this place for the first time!

    Pro Tips:
    - Come around 6am for a quiet, solo experience and see the sun hit the beach for the first time!
    - Try the pineapple soft serve ice cream at Pacific Park
    - Ride the Ferris Wheel around sunset to see 360 degrees from the Santa Monica Mountains to Catalina Island!

Fun for family outings. When using GPS it'll have u park higher up from the pier giving u about an 8min walk. Park down by the pier. For a regular car it is $12 to park the further u park the less u pay for parking. The pier is nice! The food got even better! The pizza is super cheesy! You just have to tell them to cut the pizza better. There's a place that sells burgers right next to the pizza place & the onion rings are 👌🏾 also the chili cheese fries. They have this new attraction I think it's a game that costs $8 so u can't purchase it at the ticket booth. From the ticket booth walk to your left & u will reach the kid's area. The rides for the kids have gotten much better. My 5yrs old son loves it! Annual pass is $149 a person I got it for my son and I. This will definately be a weekly trip for us!😊

Nice date night attraction and tourist location to explore. You can expect to see people fishing through out the peer N live music and arcade and rides. There is the famous ferris wheel and also lots of homeless people. There's a huge playground on the beach to the left side of the peer.

Fun place to visit for any occasions. Prices are reasonable but some may consider steep. Good variety of stores, food options and rides. Pier is nice to walk down to the end during evenings and great for sunset views.

This is my go-to stress relieving 'drug,' the best drug you can ever 'take.' Anytime I'm stressed and need some good R & R, here's where I go. Being at water's edge has always been relaxing to me and I absolutely love the Santa Monica Pier! I come here so often it feels like a second home to me, the sound of the crashing waves greeting me each time and the salty, cool and windy air opening it's arms to me. I'm an avid photographer as you can tell from the photos I personally took and this hot spot provides plenty of photo opportunities. A must visit if you live in or visit California. What are ya waiting for? Get out here and relax, have a good time! They have plenty of good food, entertainment and rides including the Pacific Wheel, a roller coaster and much more. Cya here! o/

There is parking directly at pier, I think it was $15 for whole day, no problem getting a spot once in the lot. But merging back onto road when exiting the lot was a nightmare - NO stop sign or yield for oncoming traffic all doing about 50 miles per hour and you have about 30 feet to merge! Bring a sweater after 6pm, it is windy and chilly, even on August hottest month. The roller coast was 25 minutes wait if you want to ride in front seat, which was THE BEST. Ferris Wheel was lots of stops and starts, but the view was beautiful 360 degrees! Rides, souvenirs, junk food were typical of amusement fairgrounds, but there were many wonderful free sidewalk acts such as musicians and dancers who entertain for tips.

More shady sitting areas would be perfect, but space is limited so I get why there aren't. Wrist bands were a total value and couldn't see going any other way! Plenty of snack and food kiosks. Went on a Friday and it wasn't too packed. Every ride ran twice. This last trip my kids were old enough to ride everything and we did. Love being on the rides and seeing the ocean. Can't wait to go back.

This place is always fun! I love bringing out of town friends here. The pacific wheel is my favorite ride. I also enjoy all the midway games. And just outside the park is an arcade that is great.

The entire park can use a good cleaning with improved parking at reasonable rates. Also, Pacific Park is a bit run down including the wood floor. It's only a matter of time that the entire boardwalk will collapse!

We enjoyed spending some time here and the view is great around sunset. The area was a bit dirty but no more than is to be expected. The rides are basic and very expensive but if you manage to get a good deal online for the tickets, it's worth it. (We had Go Passes for all of LA so the unlimited passes were free and we got great deals on a lot of other attractions). Many of the rides were closed and the attendants rotate through those that are open so things are a bit slow.

Nice place to hang with friends. Played guitar hero here with my friend once, he destroyed me. Cool shops around that catch lots on attention. If you come here and want to leave with souvenirs, make sure you have a thick wallet.

Awesome spot to bring the family for day/night out. Great scenery. Really enjoyed our visit. Well patrolled by the police making it fell safe and plenty of things to do and places to eat. It is a true tourist trap but still worth every bit the experience. Look forward to making it back someday soon
