Beautiful easy to get to and free. We went in late fall on a sunny day. I liked that there was a ramp down to the beach and only a few feet to get to the water but there are 4 steps to get to the sand.

Beautiful park. Awesome ramp for disabled and elders. A little rocky but perfect for looking for pretty rocks. Clear water. Smaller beach but with great parking. Head to Virtue cider after for a drink.

Locals beach. Nice little county park with a playground and a boardwalk down to the beach. 5 stars when dogs are allowed on the beach.

One of our favorite parks to stop at on our way back from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Park is clean. The walkway down to lake Michigan is very nice. Not a lot of people at this park, but it's worth the stop.

Plenty of parking and public bathrooms. Nice park with amazing views and great set of stairs to public beach access. Also, handicap accessible ramp all the way down as well.

beautiful place in the sun, or plenty of shade if you choose to stay in the picnic / playground area.
newly built, wide stairs to the water, make this one of the easiest climbs in the area, we carried large tubes and floating chairs and there was room for people to get past us! there are benches along the way to sit and enjoy the view from part way down, or to rest on the way up. this is the only waterfront park that I know of with a ramp down to the water. it's not a steep, frightening ramp, it's a wide ramp with multiple switchbacks that keep the incline / decline manageable.
there are lots of stones to dig thru while looking for your favorites; or there is clean white sand to throw down a towel and settle in for the day.
I hope you enjoy your time at this park as much as we all do!

Great view. Wonderful huge shady and sunny grass area with picnic tables and a play area. Beach is rather small but the facility as a whole is amazing

Awesome view of Lake Michigan and the ramp looks new, a great touch! Fist time visiting and I didn't want to leave.. They have benches along the ramp, great to reading 😉.
You can miss it if you're not careful, and may have to make a u-turn like I did.

I love the new ramp that was just built! Its great! This beach is wonderful too. The sunsets are beautiful. The beach is pretty rocky tho but if you get past that its nice!
