They have an awesome waterfront outdoor venue as well as indoor dining. The Sushi bar is incredible and affordable. A favorite place to go when I visit my parents.

Rooms are modern decor, but still very old. Rooms with connecting food offer no privacy. The wifi is horrible. Nice view from the water side room though

Friendly service. Good food. Expensive. Great view. Can get a bit breezy.

Hotel was very affordable but don't expect it to be elegant. There were a few tiny ants in the bathroom running around. Some of the lights in the room didn't work because the light switch was half missing and the complementary breakfast as a bit lacking to say the least. With all that said. The hotel is in a great location and for the price it was totally worth it. I wasn't there to have honeymoon or anything crazy; I just needed a place to crash and something to do in the evening. Even with the issues it had. If I return to Punta Gorda Florida I will seek out that same hotel again.

Stayed here for Columbus Day weekend and we encountered a problem with the room that we booked.. did not get a suite and they never refunded us back our money. We then get to our room which was not the suite that we paid for and all of our blinds were broken and there was no way of fixing that. Also after room service finished cleaning our room they did not close our door and left it opened for the day while we were out and thankfully nothing was taken but they should have closed the door after they were done. Our sheets were dirty and not changed after the second night and the tv was cracked down the middle. The only good thing about this hotel is that there is a nice restaurant attached with live music and food and drinks that we enjoyed very much!

Can you do zero or negative? Would be negative 100. Made reservation online, Waterfront suite. Should have know would be issue, arrive 10 minutes early, they say come back later. Only 10 minutes? Others always let you in that early or at least check. No one checked, just said come back. Now, here we go. Get room on 5th floor. Take disgusting dirty elevator up. Get off, extremely hot. Look to left, big rusty hole where I guess in some day/year there was an AC unit. Hallway very hot. Walk down towards room, room is on parking lot side not Waterfront that I paid for. Got to door, door off hinges, dirty, not closed. Push open, room was large area of water on floor, windows disgusting all fogged up with steam and filthy. Immediately went downstairs and demanded card not charged not to be able to find a room anywhere. I recommend NEVER go there.

Love HURRICANE CHARLEYS! The atmosphere is terrific, staff is super friendly. Coconut shrimp and fish tacos are super delicious!! Chicken scampi was to bland, people we were with ordered it and that's what they said I personally did not taste it.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. Employees were very courteous. Would definitely return when we were in the area. The police was right. Overlooks the bay.

Was the most horrible experience I have ever had in a hotel. When we got the room the phone didn't work. The next morning we went down to the pool and the bottom of the pool was disgusting with debris. Went to make some coffee and the coffee pot didn't work, told the staff and didn't get a new one until 8 hours later. Went to take a shower and NO hot water. The staff was not pleasant or helpful at all. Asked to talk to a Manager and there wasn't one on site. Was told to call on Monday morning. I made the call and the staff could not tell me when or who would be in or when they came in how long they would be there. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The only good thing was the restaurant called Hurricane Charlie's. So don't stay in this hotel but do visit the restaurant!!!!

My girlfriend came into town for the weekend and I had won a silent auction to the PG Waterfront and was very excited! The view from the room was great, but upon entry into our room - we realized there were bugs in it. Found a grasshopper, some moths and a couple of spiders. We went to the front desk and no one was there at 10:30pm & there was a line of people waiting to check in too. We decided to go back to my apartment and they switched our room for the next night, but the beds were just not comfortable at all. Hurricane Charley's was the best part of the hotel and they aren't even affiliated with it. When we called to tell them about the bugs, they didn't apologize or anythingor even seem surprised. Luckily, I only live 15 minutes away so we had another place to stay but it was an uncomfortable experience. Not the best customer service. I'd advise staying at the Four Points or Wyvern.

Hurricane Charleys was terrible. The waitresses were loud and yelling about their personal lives in front of customers. Such as "be better off dead" . Not the sort of thing you want to hear while having lunch. Got the half the order right. And the food wasn't really that good. I go out to eat to enjoy food better than mine. Not worse than what I can cook. The Philly cheese steak might as well have been soup on soggy bread. Not going back. Heard many rave reviews but I'm far from impressed.

Really enjoyed staying here. We stayed in the suites by the pool which were very nice. The atmosphere was great, at night you can hear the band playing from the restaurant connected to the hotel. Great views of the harbor and the sunset is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this hotel for the views the price and experience if downtown pg. The staff at the front desk are more then helpful as well. Overall great hotel!

We stayed at this hotel in 2016 and liked it very much, even though it did need some updating. So, we stayed again in 2017. Housekeeping was not up to standards and we were overcharged for our visit to the tune of $400+. When I questioned as to why we were overcharged, I was told not to worry that we would get it back when we checked out, which was not for three more days, plus we had to wait two days for the credit to clear our bank. My problem with this is that the error should have been fixed at the time I complained about it, not three days later. We did get our money credited to us, though. After three days of staying there, I requested that our sheets get changed because they smelled sour to me. It took a tip from my husband to get that accomplished. One day we had only one washcloth between to be used for the sink and the shower, too. Another day there was no coffee or cups. Just not the same visit we experienced the first time we stayed there. An email to the manager of the hotel went completely ignored, which just added to the whole situation.

Good experience with a few major drawbacks. Stayed overnight for a wedding held at the hotel. Overall the room was nice, good bed and very clean. We were poolside across from the restaurant that had a band playing late into the night which we could hear clearly in our room. The shower sliding glass door didn't sit in it's tracks and the shower itself had drainage issues. The lighting in the room was not sufficient when the blinds were closed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when shower issues were mentioned they said they would send a maintenance technician to fix the problem. We were only there for one night so I can't verify if the problem was resolved.
