Always satisfied with Country Inn & Suites they bend over backwards to make your stay a good experience. This one in Port Charlotte I especially found Joel to be helpful and very nice.

A nice place, clean and comfy. Great breakfast in the morning, and the ice machines all work great. The front desk service is top notch.

A nice place. Clean and well maintained. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My one issue that initialy caused a 4 star rating is that the A/C in my room (#404) was so loud for the first few minutes everytime it started. I could barely hear the TV. I asked to have it looked at and they fixed it.

The battery on the TV remote was dead. and it was fixed.

Very helpful staff.

If I could give a 0 I would. Lied to over and over by the staff about the availability of our room. Drove overnight and had to sleep in our car due to their lies. Room was just eh nothing to write home about. Bed was hard as a rock. House keeping didn't come clean our room 1 day. Called for towels and never got them. We come to FL numerous times a year and I won't give this place another dime.

Clean rooms. Good service from front desk manager. We arrived late but we got to our room in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was great, plenty of food.

This Inn has a country charm, yet furnished with modern accommodations. Much appreciated respite during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. With good food, clean rooms, and pleasant staff, they welcomed our pets and offered apologies for being short staffed, which had no affect whatsoever on their service, courtesy or professionalism. To be away from home, they made us feel like home. Thank you to Staff @ Country Inn & Suites

We ended up enduring Hurricane Irma at this hotel, and let me tell you, the staff was going above and beyond that day.
Even during the worst of the storm, the room was cozy and felt safe. When we had a small issue, the front desk sent a maintenance worker right away, and he fixed it immediately. I learned from him that the owners of the hotel had allowed employees and their families to stay for free during the storm!
The front desk was helpful, friendly, and professional. Next time I go to Port Charlotte, I know where I'm staying!

We stayed here with our dog for 3 weeks in a king suite. The staff were great - personable and always happy to help. The property inside and out was clean and attractive. Breakfast was always a really nice spread with eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, breads, muffins & danishes, cereal, and more! Their coffee was really tasty; and hot, fresh coffee & cookies or granola bars were always available. Only drawback was that although they are pet-friendly, there was only one little spot of grass with no bags for pet waste. But overall I enjoyed staying here, and would highly recommend it to others.

A little noisy if your room faces the highway. Breakfast was as good as any hotel chain. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. TV was clear with 50 channels. The price was good but I had to shop heavly for it. Staff is great, responsive, and a pleasure to be around. Plusthey have free coffee and cookies all day and there is a fireworks store next door. Overall a nice place.

Friendly and courteous staff. Easy on/off I-75. Clean facility and rooms. Breakfast buffet was ok but not the same quality or options as other C.I. that I stay at. Handicap parking was limited during this visit. Plenty of eateries close by, but Applebees offers a discount by showing room key.

Scale of 1-10 with 10 being excellent I give this place a 3 on this scale !Negatives,Mold on battub area,torn shower curtain,Housekeeping does not dust the room when staying for a 7 day period,Linens were clean,toilet seat loose as broken retainer screws,A/C filters cloogged,I had to wash and clean myself and re install.Breakfast is the worse ever hardly palatable ! we stay in Port Charlotte 2-3 times a year and wanted a change from Sleep Inn and La Quinta ! Next reservation is at Sleep Inn food is 100% better,Pool is comfortably heated,service when required is prompt and experienced. Another big issue at Country Inn was the Elevator was only one operational for over three days.Very Disappointed !
