love love love this place. Been staying here almost 2 weeks during Christmas time and the staff almost feels like family. They even accepted are 78lb bull dog. breakfast is a different hot meal everyday.
Very good place, excellent service, rooms are clean and tidy and very tasty breakfast! I stopped after a long trip and was very tired, the bed was so comfortable and I slept like a child. I loved this place!
Thanks for the hospitality!
The place lives up to its name, Micro. The rooms were very tiny, almost uncomfortably so. The walls were so thin, I was woken up after midnight by the couple next door to me, and they weren't even talking loudly. The hallways stunk. The air conditioning, even on its lowest setting and in such a tiny room, barely cooled it off. I'm giving a second star because the bed was nice and firm and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.
I should say that my family and I have stayed here several times prior and with each time we wonder why we keep coming back? There decision to allow dogs, any size dogs is ruining the hotel. Lobby smells of dirty dog, elevators and hallways do to. Trying to get into elevators with little ones and doors open to large dogs pulling on leashes when you are not expecting that. The first room we were given smelled of smoke, we were switched to a new room and it seemed ok until people started smoking in the smoking area on the 1st floor beneath our window and it blew into our room. Not good for our little ones. Nothing they could do on Thanksgiving weekend so we slept with our air off. Not ok. Next day manager switched us to a room that was much better, smell of dirty dogs were coming in under the door still. Then got over charged $40 for our stay. So disappointed that our favorite go to when visiting family is going down hill. On the positive cleaning staff super friendly and agrees about the smoking smell problems. Time to fix these things.
I didnt stay in a room but I did rent the conference room out for a party. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and set up as requested. It was a good experience.
The staff is great. Better than average free breakfast. Sometimes they even put out warm cookies at night.
Great place to stay very peaceful and clean wonderful staff including Barbara she makes sure the breakfast is diffrent everyday and there's enough food for everyone she keeps everything nicely stocked and clean
This hotel far exceeded my husband's and my expectations. The price we got for this hotel on Expedia was exceptional. We paid $50 a night for a king bed room for 5 nights. The hotel got excellent reviews which is what sold us. We pulled up to the hotel at night, and it looks a little rough on the outside, however, once you go inside, it's a totally different place. Everything is new and updated and very clean. We checked in, and they told us we were being upgraded to a suite free of charge. We were so impressed with the great customer service we received. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and had crisp white linens. The breakfast was continental, and it was the only thing we weren't that impressed with. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back in the future!
Very nice and clean place to stay. (I stayed 2 1/2 weeks waiting for my house to close). I have 3 complaints that would be the house keepers never vaccumed and I actually had to go downstairs and get a vacuum myself not once but twice. They did every thing else but vacuum. Next the breakfast is good but it's the same stuff every week and you can clearly see the bacon is that already cooked microwave kind yet they still manage to burn it. And even though you're supposed to pick up your dog poo no one does and my boyfriend managed to step in some. I'd still go back, it was a beautiful place but everyone has faults.
Newer motel with friendly staff. Room was large and pretty clean. The furniture does need to be pulled away from the way every now and then and cleaned behind. Bathroom was nice and roomy. Pool was small but clean and nice. The eggs and sausages served at breakfast were cooked in a small fry skillet. Sure made a difference in the taste. Recommended.
Some of the staff at the front desk were nice and helpful. the other staff not so much. The rooms were clean but extremely small. The breakfast was okay , standard free hotel breakfast . My room faced the pool , which was open until 11pm . The pool doesn't have a lifeguard . Other guests went to the pool and played loud music until it closed . I asked the front desk to tell them to quiet down but they said music was allowed. The area is not safe at all . I tried to walk to the store in the day time and a group of men drove by and shouted sexual things at me. Then they circled the block and came back and continued trying to talk to me . I had to threaten to call the cops before they finally left. This hotel is overpriced for what you get . I would not recommend it to a friend .
This is our favorite place to stay when we come to the gulf to hunt for sharks teeth. The rates are reasonable. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. And they have the best free breakfast.
When I first checked in, apparently there was some sort of mix-up and they gave me what seemed to be an only partially cleaned room. No big deal, though, just told the front desk and she immediately gave me a different room and all was well. Very nice room, clean and comfortable, just what I needed. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but not a problem. Great stay!
