Pretty good store. Not so much hardware, and very little orchard, but like most stores like this has a lot of consumer items like cleaning supplies, holiday decorations, etc.

Had a bad experience with the staff at this location but I emailed their customer service department and they said they would get something done about it. Before that I was a regular shopper there and liked the store.

Selection: I find myself thinking "Really, Orchard's doesn't carry this?" a lot in this store (and Orchard's in general). The selection is okay if your looking for very basic things, but don't expect a large variety or more unique items.

Price: Similar to other small hardware stores, a 20-30% markup on most items over the cost at Home Depot. Given that the closest big hardware store is in Venice, I can live with that.

Customer Service: At best, its okay. Generally takes me a while to find an employee to help, and most employees can't really give you any direction beyond their "section" (I find this particularly true up stairs, many employees pass through for the breakroom but have NO idea where anything is upstairs). When I do find someone in the right section, they are generally very helpful -- but I have been condescendingly questioned about using one thing over another for a project.

Also, don't expect getting a key made/grope or chain cut/anything else at the "key counter" to take less than 20 minutes if they are even remotely busy. Slowest line I've ever seen, and it seems like they are always missing from the station.

Overall: Its a clean store and easy to use if you know what you need (and don't like being bothered while shopping). Don't expect selection, but you can find most household repair necessities here.

Customer service is pretty bad! The patio furniture is wired up in shelves so you can't sit on it and the spray paint (which is $2) is locked away so you need someone to assist you. It's impossible to find someone to help you and when you do they're no help at all. Also the store manager is just about giving excuses to everything instead of actually doing something about it.

A very popular OSH, but still runs well. Their paint department carries new Weatherwash wood stain that instantly aged wood to turn it barnwood grey. Would recommend this.

I almost always find what I need here and the employees are very helpful I have been coming here for decades. This is the only good size hardware so we have in the area, so the negatives should all shut up and be very thankful it's here and we are not always forced to drive all the way down to Playa Vista on Jefferson to go to Home Depot.

I thought customer service was a thing of the past, but it is alive and well at this amazing store! EVERY single person was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help me. I LOVED my experience here & will absolutely be back. I will not be returning to the other hardware stores I previously shopped!

By far the most friendly, helpful and generous staff among all of the hardware stores around. That said, this store obviously doesn't have the same enormous selections for tools, lumber etc as some of the other larger stores (such as Home Depot). However, the products they do carry are good quality. I've also found them to be similarly priced to the other hardware stores. So all in all this is absolutely my go-to store for most things.
