My haircuts have been great and I've liked going here, however poor scheduling caused me to give up two Saturdays for no reason. After two tries, I never had my haircut, and now won't be able to get in before the holidays. I won't be going back.
The best linguini&seafood I've ever had so far!!! The location is touristy and you'll think that it'll be about quantity not the quality, however it was a great surprise when the quality of food and service was a top notch!!!
We had two vegetarians in our company and they left so happy and full!!! There's plenty of choices for everyone! Would be coming here again for sure!
Katie did a great job on my latest haircut. I have been to Orange Olive several times with various stylists and always leave happy. I also love the Davines product line that they carry. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful experience. Katie did an excellent job with my color adding depth and warm tones. I've never had such a meticulous foil! She took her time understanding what I liked and worked from there. Chris did my cut and used the same skillsunderstanding what I liked and took over. Love, love, love Orange Olive!!!
I got bleach, toner, and a cut. The people here are all very pleasant. My color was perfect even though I had difficulty telling them what I want. The cut was also perfect. I am very pleased with this salon and will be back.
My daughter discovered Orange Olive via a Yelp review, I believe. Superb service, immensely talented and creative staff, and FUN atmosphere. I drive 35 miles to get there and would frankly go twice as far if needed.
I love the color, it turned out fantastic. The staff was awesome on the phone and in person. The cut was also on point, Stephanie did an excellent fade and recommended my new favorite hair product!
Long story short I was new to the Charlotte area and I let the wrong person touch my hair. I was devastated and needed to get a QUICK fix before I could get my day going. I called a few different places and was rejected cause they couldn't fit me in, but Orange Olive didn't! They squeezed me in right before my classes! They are all so sweet and the salon itself overall has such a positive vibe. My stylist was Chris, so special thanks to him for always working his magic every time I go in! Definitely recommend.
For years.I enjoy the place the colors, the cuts and how I am treated.
I feel spoiled and look and feel like a different person; younger, more energetic.
Looking FW. each and every experience. Thank you Orange Olive Hair Gallery; Mrs Eden
I had a Groupon for a ombre/balayage service at Orange Olive. I've dyed my hair in the past and the colors did not lift very well. The end result was very brassy orange, even when I asked specifically for a cooler color--I said that I didn't want it to be warm. It was also not balayage, just regular foils that ended about 2 inches from my roots.
The result was patchy, even after my hairdresser went in and fixed it. I also had to trim a few pieces that were a centimeter longer than the rest.
EDITED RESPONSE TO OWNER: Thank you for clarifying about the previous response and taking the time to write back to me again. It certainly does help me feel better about my experience at OO, although I still wish I could say I was satisfied with my cut/color experience. Best of luck to you and your salon--other reviewers seem to have had very positive experiences here.
Love Orange Olive! Everyone who works there is friendly, warm and welcoming and the stylists are awesome! So far, Jenny and Katie have both cut my hair and I've been thrilled with both of them and would highly recommend them both! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at the Orange Olive the next time you need your hair done!
I've been to Orange Olive Hair Gallery three times. The first time was a good experience. The stylist (Jessica) cut my hair how I wanted it. Then I went to get my eyebrows threaded. They did an awesome job with my eyebrows! Loved it. Third time I went to get my hair cut again. Oh boy. Brooke cut my hair. So many things went wrong. She asked me if I part my hair in the middle. My hair was parted on the side when I came in, so I was confused why she would ask this. I said, "sometimes. Not that often". It's like she didn't hear me because then she parts my hair in the middle and starts cutting it dry. She even cut my face frame (which turned into being incredibly uneven bangs) with the middle part. Also, if a client wants texture in their hair, don't whip out your thinning shears and chop their hair to pieces. It will make their hair uneven. You can point cut and get the same results, but the hair will be even. I've been a hairstylist for 9 years so I know the things mentioned above could have been prevented. If Brooke had more training then I think she would be a great hairstylist.
