Best attention from waitress Eevee had. The food is correct, not amazing. The concert area, located in -1 level, has a great arrangement and the scenario is visible from everywhere. There's a bar and restaurant as soon as you get into the place, nice to wait there for the show and have drinks or dinner.

This was the worst experience of my life. I booked a reservation a month in advance for my husband's birthday for dinner and a jazz show. We finally get there and we are seated. After we are seated our waitress advises us that there is no hot food from the dinner menu but we can order burgers and wings. I dont understand how a place of this caliber runs out of food on a Sat. Night. Smh not only did we leave but my husband's birthday dinner was ruined. Worst place ever!

An amazing intimate venue to see a jazz set. The crowd is knowledgeable and there for the music. The bar offers great cocktails and craft beer list.

Saw a show here on our anniversary. It was great! They offer food from the Blue Smoke restaurant upstairs. Order the brisket and mac and cheese. They were incredible!

Loved this place - it's billed as NYC's largest jazz club but still feels intimate. Staff was friendly and the BBQ was absolutely wonderful. My only reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the show we went to was only an hour. Since I don't go to shows like these often I'm guessing this is probably typical but it just seems like too short a time to really get into what the group is doing. The trio we saw was absolutely great too!

Wonderful place, perfect for a classy night of Jazz. Cozy atmosphere, professional staff. Even better talent. Food was flavorful, however it was rather cold when it got to our table, which was a bummer. Other than that, I would recommend this place to everyone for a fun night in NYC.

I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed each visit. The location is below a BBQ joint and takes advantage of that in the food service. The meals are flavorful and the drinks are excellent. The selection of live acts is fantastic as well. Make no mistake though, this is not a raucous juke joint. The jazz you will hear here is refined, technical and excellently performed. They have a hush policy for a reason! Come though, the whole experience does not disappoint.

Go see Jazz here. Unlike most clubs in the city, you aren't squeezed in like sardines. Plus, the have a great BBQ menu.

Great for a small show. easy to pee or get a drink. sound was good even at about 90*. skip the BBQ place across the street. it sucks.

The best of the best NYC legendary jazz club! Comfortable seating, I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. Good food and good cocktails to enjoy while watching some of the best jazz acts in the world.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the performance here. The Rufus Reid Quartet was awesome, the drinks were delicious, and the food was very tasty. We weren't expecting the drinks or food to be anything special. The drinks were typical Manhattan prices, but made with care and plenty of alcohol. The food was very good, especially the brisket, chicken wings, and the biscuits!! Will definitely be back here soon.
