This place is an absolute gem in the area. Good food to order and good specialty items to take home. Stop by and take a look!

I stop here every week for the mushrooms that they have in stock. Grab some miss and dried seaweed while you're at it to make you own miso soupso much better.

Our go-to spot! I keep trying new stuff on the menu and I keep loving it every time! Very convenient for a quick on the go bite too, as I do not eat fast food, it has saved me more times than I can count.

Can't recommend highly enough. I moved here February and was delighted to discover a market as authentic and expansive as this. The sushi and hot menu meals have always been exceptionally tasty and fresh.

They have a friendly staff and a great lunch menu! Although my food came out with a hair in it, they gave me a new dish promptly and apologized for the mistake. I love the atmosphere and the way they treat their customers. The price is good for what you get as well.

I love coming to this place for lunch. Their Katsudon is to die for! It tastes so good, and the price is reasonable for the amount you get as well. I also recommend the spicy bomb inari. When I'm not eating there, I like to browse their ingredients to attempt (and often fail at) making authentic Asian food at home.

Definitely recommend!

Interesting to find this Japanese gem in the Midwest. Great cafe for sushi & other Japanese foods. The chirashi bowl I had was good and the dynamite roll wasn't very spicy, but still satisfying. It was great to shop in the grocery for the different Japanese snacks and items.

Best Japanese store I have visited in Indiana. Grocery sectio comparable to the big department stores I used to visit in Singapore. More importantly, price is practically half what I paid in Singapore. They also have fresh fish which was the biggest draw for us. The staff was also very friendly and they helped us pack our frozen grocery in ice. The vegetable section is small but they have a nice authentic collection. Definitely will visit here often.
