Absolutely amazing tasting food. Great variety and unique tamale selection. Prices are certainly reasonable and the service was great. A must try if you're in the Indy area.

Always fresh made and the staff is friendly. They only make a certain number of tamales each day so get there early for the best selection. The nachos are great as well.

Here to let you know about the dessert tamales, since it looks like the normal tamales are pretty well covered! (That being said, hot-and-spicy pork and chipotle beef are incredible.) I've had all 4 flavors of dessert tamales, and here they are, ranked in other from least to most favorite:
Pineapple and Raisin: ⭐⭐⭐
Tastes a little like fruitcake, and steamed raisins aren't my thing. Could be really tasty if it was a little tarter, maybe?
Apple and Pecan: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A solid choice, love the crunch of the pecans, but lacks depth of apple flavor? It's definitely worth trying though, it's a bit like apple cake.
Chocolate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This one is pretty much amazing. Chocolate outside, chocolate inside. Rich and not too sweet, with little molten-chocolate pockets.
Pumpkin: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Personal preference to put this above chocolate, honestly. Lightly spiced, full of buttery pumpkin flavor, just perfect IMHO. I'd come here just for this, take two to go and have them with spiced coffee, perfect treat.

Average at best. Generous amounts of meat. The salsa was supposed to be hot but it wasn't hot at all. I would probably eat there again to try the tamales. I would also recommend everyone to check it out and form their own opinion.

This place has been around a probably over 10 years and it's still as delicious as ever. I personally have only had the tamales and nachos. They have a variety of tamales, they only have a certain amount of them so make sure to get there early in the day to get your favorite. The chipotle chicken nachos and the steak nachos are my favorite. Their cheese is phenomenal! You can buy it in 20z, 1/2 and full pint. Everything is always fresh and their chips are made in store. Deliciously crunchy! It does get pretty busy so if you're not ready to have a little wait maybe order ahead.

We drove 3.5 hrs. one way to have lunch there. Absolutely worth the trip, best tamales I have ever had. We will definitely be making the trip again real soon.

So so good. We love everything that we have tried. We like to get the takeout before concerts BC it's easy to eat in the hotel room and the tamales travel well to take into the show if you want. Big tamales! Yum.

The food was very good. I'm not a huge tamale fan, but these tamales were most and very flavorful. I had the pork with green sauce that was excellent and a steak taco which was good. I used the hot sauce on the taco, but I think the tamale was spicier. My party also had a cheese taco (essentially a quesadilla), carnitas taco and got a hot and spicy pork tamale (very spicy). Everyone liked theirs as well. Decor is fine, and the bathrooms are clean. The only negatives were a slow service to order/pay, and a lack of tamales at 6 pm (only had about 15 tamales left, spread over 4 flavors).
I recommend this place but I would suggest getting there earlier.response / report this review -

Great tamales and at pretty decent speed. I have liked every tamale I have ate there. The spicy is definitely spicy so if you think Tabasco is spicy then don't try it. Go for something mild instead. If your going to a race you have to try it.
A few suggestions: outdoor seating, the place needs more seating and why not take advantage of the location and add a side entrance more windows and outdoor covered seating. Another suggestion have a set pickup area that doesn't require people to constantly shuffle around so someone else can use the bathroom. Wow! Hands down, the best tamales I have ever had in a restaurant. Being from New Mexico, I hold high standards for real Mexican food, and this place exceeded my expectations for the middle of Indiana. Meat and masa melt like butter in your mouth, and everything is perfectly seasoned. Torta is huge! Tacos are wonderful. Wow!

Friendly staff, clean nice place. I ordered a steak torta and after I drove 3 miles home I went to eat it and bit into it and the steak was so dry and over cooked I couldn't even eat half.

Tasty food and very reasonably priced. Gets very busy during lunch hours. Not sure how authentic the food is and it's a bit lacking in spiciness, but it's very tasty and the food is well balanced. Definitely worth the wait, it gets busy for a reason.

Omg,googled restaurants and this place came up. When I tell you really good. It's great, employees are awesome. I ordered the tamale combo which came with side and drink for about $10 to $11. Not an expensive place, it's reasonable. I will be back.

Amazing fresh food, friendly people and reasonable prices.
The only complaint I have is they are often out of what I'm craving by the time I can get there.
