I ordered meatloaf.
It was delicious.
My service was sub par. Never have i ever been to a place where while entering a server stated that they do a to go menu.
Sat at the bar and had a meatloaf and two beers and not a single thank you for coming or anything.
Katie sucked as a server. Needs more training. Myself owning a few restaurants wound never treat guests this manner. Especially since I spent $20 on damn meatloaf.

I don't give five stars lightly.
The parameters behind my rating were environment, food quality, drink quality, and service.
Environment: The interior of the restaurant is noticeably updated. The decor is pleasant, and the lighting exceptional. A great place to have relaxing meal.
Food quality: I ate the butternut squash ravioli, and it was superb! The cream wasn't too heavy, and the sweet potato was complimentary, as well as the red peppers. I also had the Brussels sprouts; they were awesome.
Drink quality: I requested a gimlet with gin which was a little sour, but made well and had adequate spirits. I also requested a Mexican mule which was very good. Fyi, no copper mugs.
Service: We arrived at 4:30pm for the dinner service, as it was listed to open at 4 on Google, but restaurant didn't open until 5pm (I edited the hours). Not only did they seat us early, but did so happily, and still provided a great dinner experience. The owner came by our table twice, and even overhead our curiosity over the beef short ribs, so he provided a bowl for us to sample. They were outstanding. Our waitress was professional, courteous, and enjoyable to converse with.

The staff is nice, but the food is trying too hard to make up for the price. Constantly showing the same two movies on the TVs, would be better with no TV.

The owner treats his staff horribly. Sometimes those servers don't even get paid. Great staff, I know them all. I wish better for them.
