On the Border was always one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They have a good selection of food to choose from. The restaurant was just remodeled if you like Mexican food it's a must place to check out.

It takes a special kind of waiter to take over an hour from when we are seated to be served. Every step along the way things were slow, getting drinks, taking our order and getting our food. The server was polite, the food was fine, but the slowness is unacceptable and taints the rest of the experience

Went on a Tuesday night to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was our first experience with them. We ordered an appetizer, but never received it, and waited more than an hour for our food. When our food did arrive, we had to remind him that we also ordered an appetizer, and one of the dishes was wrong. They also gave our table only one small bowl of beans and rice for the entire table to share (there was five in our party). I also ordered black beans instead of re-fried, but did not receive them. The food DID taste good though, and the margarita was great. They also discounted our bill for the dish that was wrong and the appetizer that was brought out AFTER the rest of the food.

Our new server, Robert, was great. The young lady who delivered our food was definitely not up to snuff. She insisted on arguing with one of our party about a sauce that was requested. And how convenient that she did not wear a name tag.

On The Border is it's own category of Mexican food! Their fresh tortillas are one of the best! Super friendly staff and your drink and chips is NEVER empty! Portion sizes are great and the bottomless rice and beans make it better!

Mexican food that is of great taste and restaurant is new and super clean. Seemed that during our dinner for the three times we have been there as a family the restaurant is under staffed. The waiter we had was attentive but seemed a little behind with all the tables he had to manage so be prepared for a longer time at the restaurant.

Me and my wife go to this location at least once a week for happy hour we sit at the bar and all the bartenders a very friendly never had any problems the prices are unbeatable the food is good and the beer is fantastic.

We have been here several times. This has been by far our worst experience. Service was slow, but food was good. I ordered salsa twice from two different servers and never received it. I would of had a second Margarita, but poor service. We have been waiting over five minutes to pay our bill. Again poor service. Are you really surprised about the poor tip?

I love there chips and salsa. They also serve what's called "guacamole live" server makes it right in front of you at your table. It's one of our favorites. Always good food and service.

Got a gift card from an acquaintance. I decided to try it out. It was, by far, the worst food that I've ever had at a restaurant. It tasted extremely processed, and as if it had come out of a can. For the price of around $15 a meal, I can think of a dozen actual Mexican food places in the valley, that serve great food at a lower price. It's been about six hours since I ate, and I can still taste the food coming up from my stomach. I'm sure my review won't be taken seriously, due to its one star rating, but it was so bad that I had to write something. This establishment was also extremely tacky and food was all over the floor. It was free, due to the gift card, howeverI would have rather paid for a good meal that didn't taste like a bad TV dinner.
