Was there for our anniversary, just so happened to coincide with the bowl game. Staff sent us a treat and a card. First time we've ever had a staff give us a gift. We know the staff was super busy, but to take the time, energy, and thoughtfulness to go above and beyond. We will be back!
No microwave to make food, have to request microwave before you even check in?! Looks fancy, but I got my money back and went to a cheaper hotel that had a microwave and fridge in the room. Cost about 20$ bucks less too. Basically the place is all flashy looking but didn't have a few basic things in it for the price..
Clean room with a nice view. parking garage is $14 every time you want to leave and come back. Unless you valet with the hotel for $20. When your on vacation with a lot of extra stuff in your vehicle not really what you want to have to do. Hotel is nice and staff were friendly.
Beautiful hotel in downtown Jacksonville with excellent customer service. The view from our room was breathtaking (highlights the best of Jacksonville) and the hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shoppes at the landing. I wish I stayed long enough to experience the brunch on Sunday, as I heard great things from it. Will definitely visit again and I recommend if you want a hotel on this side of town.
I was hesistant to stay after reading some of the less than happy reviews. We went to a show at the Times Union and this was the perfect spot! So we held our breath. The staff are very nice and accommodating! We ordered room service and ate breakfast. The food was very good. I will stay again!
I was there for a professional event. The experience was okay. The hotel is immaculate. However I did encounter an issue where a couple of the conference rooms had a weird smell to them. but, otherwise it was fine. I cannot comment on the rooms themselves because I did not stay there.
Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. Not in a real kid friendly location though, especially if you plan on walking everywhere. With Jacksonville Landing literally steps away, it's a perfect place for singles or couples without children. We were put in a room that shares a door with a suite, and the results were terrible. Loud guests next door kept us up all night with no help from the staff.
The downstairs restaurant and bar was really nice. Try the Champagne Cobbler mixed drinkits worth the price. Bar staff was very friendly.
I came here because of the recent hurricane going on. It was last minute but I was able to bring my cat along so I didn't have to worry about being in my apartment. The staff are all friendly and even though it's crowded it still had buffet and friendly faces. The only downside was the room really didn't feel like a 5 star. It didn't have a microwave and I had to pay extra for anything really. I mean it's a nice, clean place with friendly staff and all but it's really not worth it.
The lobby is super nice. Had great reviews online. But for being such a high grade hotel, they could have done a lot better. The sink gets stopped up after 30 seconds of running water, the trash in the room was still there from the last occupants! Never been to a hotel where the trash cans aren't empty (gross.) The lobby on our floor also has a really funky smell. Was rather disappointed the more I walked up to my room. Nice pillows though, and a great room. Please don't skip out on the cleanliness next time! Not sure I'll stay at Omni again.
Professional and warm service in the restaurant (good food) and at the front desk. Room was clean and nice. Room service available at the pool (great view) on the 4th floor, although an actual bar would be a big improvement. Great location right next to Jacksonville Landing and convention center.
The service was great, our room was nice enough and very clean. The front desk associates were very helpful. The cons were our room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator and you needed a key card to go just about everywhere which got to be downright annoying! For instance, in order to get to the pool you must go through the gym (very small gym). You have to use a key card to get through the gym door then again to get to the pool! Maybe they could make the assumption that if you get into the gym successfully, them you have a key card. You also needed a key card to go up and down the elevator. I would not choose this place if that would be something you'd find annoying. Also the breakfast was $22. I think they are on NYC prices with that.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around
Pretty old hotel, does need some updating. Downstairs is gorgeous. The room seemed well kept, bed was comfy and lots of channels on TV. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and air didn't seem to keep it to cool. Wasn't happy with the parking situation but that is to be expected in a downtown 4 star hotel. The pool was warm, but apparently they don't tidy up by the pool often as their was dishes from drinks all around the tables by pool. I would stay here again, overall it was a nice hotel for the 90 dollar night price i paid. Not sure it would be worth the 200 a night it usually is!
The service was good, both at the receptionist desk and restaurant. Our problems lies with, one blown light bulb, bed linen full of hair, toilet worked only twice, tub did not drain well, and the extra bath robe was too small ( more so for the young adult size and not an average adult size.) These things had to be corrected. They were an inconvenience and made our vacation stay very unpleasant. When we searched for a hotel we looked for the top of the line and we chose your establishment. We hope that this survey does not go unanswered, when others come after us, and that they may have an opportunity actually to enjoy their stay without any inconveniences.
Thank you
