We are not frequent vet visitors(it has been 6 years since stepping foot into a clinic) But my fur baby would whimper when we barely touched her ear and she would cry if she shook her head or yawned. I knew it was an ear issue and Olympic Veterinary Clinic got me in the same day I called. The appointment only took one hour from parking to leaving. Dr. Waknitz was thorough, kind, patient and made us feel welcomed from the beginning. Extremely clean clinic and if we ever are in need of animal services again, we won't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I just moved to Port Angeles a little over three months ago and I was looking for a new vet for my two labs; they needed rabies shots. I decided to take them to OVC because of the great reviews it got online. I made a great choice!
--Office was clean
--Courteous staff
--The vet (Dr. Torres) was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, answered all of my questions, and didn't try to push anything on me
--Both of my dogs got a free exam, as promised
--My labs, while not fans of going to the vet, stayed mostly calm; I attribute part of that to Dr. Torres and her assistant, Lindsey's, bedside manner
The only bad part about the whole experience was the wait time. My appointment lasted almost an hour and most of that time was spent waiting. However, I do not know how bust they were at the time.

The staff here are wonderful. We have taken both of our cats here recently and received excellent care and advice. Dr Torres and Emily both receive my highest regards. Desk staff as well..(I just don't know your names, pardon me). Couldn't have had better support than we received last week as we went through a difficult time with our kitty.

Not sure why the vet clinic needs 25 signs that insist on no parking with threats to tow with only a takeout pizza place sharing the property. Seems awfully rude. How could a two minute drop in to grab a pizza possibly offend the vet ownership? They must have spent several thousand dollars on these signs and installation, perhaps a donation to the local humane society would have been a better use of that cash. Way to be friendly and inviting!

Great vet, friendly staff. Easy to work with payment/treatment options. We take our cat there and will be taking our puppy soon too.

We just moved into the area and we were searching for a Vet and thought we would give Olympic Vet a try. I was impressed the minute I walked in the door. The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. The doctor was very through and informative. We are so pleased to have found a great place to take our pets. Moving is tough and this is one more thing we don't have to worry about. I highly recommend Olympic Vet.
