Old Crown has the best coffee in Fort Wayne, and every time I'm there I run into some cool people who I know. Love this place! The only downside is that their foodservice is usually pretty slow but the deliciousness makes up for it.

This would easily be 5 stars but the parking situation and cleanliness of this building is terrible. Excellent coffee - best roaster in town by far. However it’s time for this company to spend some money and get a better place to meet demand. I have stopped in many times just to grab a few pounds of coffee beans and had to leave because there were many customers and too little help. I can’t imagine how much business this company loses due to this situation but I would bet it’s tens of thousands of dollars a year

Old Crown has the best coffee around. He really knows his coffee and they all do a great job providing top quality on all their items. This is probably my favorite place in Fort Wayne.

Amazing Mississippi Roast Beef! Very flavorful and not salty, over great country mashed and Southern Fried Cabbage that was firm not mushy.
Chicken & Dumplings had nicely sized chunks of chicken of both white and dark meat sizes of veggies similar to a stew and the chicken sauce was perfectly seasoned with a thicker consistency.

A great coffee shop/cafe. Wide selection of coffee/tea drinks and the baristas know what they are doing. The staff seems happy and upbeat. Amazing food. Highly recommend purchasing coffee beans here for use at home.

This place is one of the best kept secretes in the Fort. The coffee is selection is diverse. The patrons and staff are eclectic. All of this along with a laid back vibe and atmosphere, the changing weekend dinner menu with a farm to fork dishes make it a place worth visiting over and over. Not to mention the best line-up of pinball machines (in the back room that they call the blue room) in the North East of Indiana. Winner - Winner - OC!

Old Crown has some of the best coffee in town. Their 20 oz. iced Americano is my personal limitless pill. The owner, Mike, is also a fantastic guy. He's incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. I highly recommend checking them out.

Update: I feel I need to amend my initial review (which you can see below). I still feel the interior of the facility is a bit dark and somewhat like a bar, however, I've come to love this place! Their coffee is absolutely stellar, and the space is quiet and enjoyable even when it's busy. This is definitely a coffee shop (and bar) to check out.

The coffee is excellent but the atmosphere feels a bit more like a dive bar than a coffee house.

A good place for a quiet evening with a cocktail and a book or a mid-day coffee and some laptop work. It's sometimes awkward to get service, even if you're sitting at the bar, but other than that it's a favorite local hang.

Great, fresh coffee for coffee nerds. Tasteful cocktails (bourbon sprawl). Only a half dozen taps, but drinks are high quality and interesting. FANTASTIC selection of high quality spirits.

This place has very high quality cocktails and coffee for a reasonable price, and offer food like wraps or sandwiches most of the time. On Fridays they have a full dinner menu that changes from week to week, and it's delicious. I've been super impressed with their drink selection- both the specialty cocktails they offer as well as the classics.
And that's without even mentioning the coffee. This place famously offers their own roasted coffee beans for purchase, and the selection is nothing to sneeze at. I highly recommend this place for both coffee snobs and booze snobs alike.

This is a good coffee bar - excellent proper brewed coffee - not hte usual autopsy runoff that we are offered in other places. Also, a well chosen, if small range of beans for sale too. The staff are excellent and most welcoming. The place reminds me of the hip coffee bars back in the UK I would frequent to people watch and enjoy a good coffee too.. I have not tried eating there but I watched them preparing food and watched it go out to the covers and it looked good.
Altogether a gem of a coffee bar and highly recommended. I'll be back!
