Great personal care. Responsive to patient preferences throughout medical care. amazing nurses.oh and good food!
ER staff are friendly and courteous. The door to doctor time was only 5 minutes. The doctor was knowledagble and friendly, as well as prompt with treatment. 4 stars due to long wait time between visits for updates. Place is clean and has security at ER entrance.
DO NOT GO HERE! I was crying and screaming in pain due to TN (Trigeminal Neuralgia)following a botched spinal tap. The ER chief at the time apologized for the way that I was treated by his ER staff following the eventual TN diagnosis. I was suffering and his staff was nasty and rude toward me because they made the assumption that I was someone who was looking for drugs! Had I strength and energy at the time I would have sued, not for a desire for financial compensation but because when you are in horrific pain people should not make assumptions and make you suffer more! I accepted the apology and when I was admitted to the facility after 3 ER visits and 2 blood patches (blood injected into the spine in effort to correct spinal tap headache) I thought that the treatment would improve but this was not the case. I WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFER if I had stayed home and suffered. They kept injecting my IV with Benedryl and I was having horrible chest pains. The nurse come telling me, "don't worry, it will pass." I still do not understand the purpose nor do I understand how they could ignore the horrific pain I was in when they did this. I was having difficulty speaking otherwise I would have told them to please stop giving it to me but they did keep giving it to me and knew I was having horrible chest pains! The doctor who was assigned to me (Neurologist - Dr. Fahey)was very abrupt and when I tried to explain that all of the pain medication was making me very confused and sleepy he seemed further annoyed and continued (?) to ask me questions in a frustrated manner while I slurred my words and kept slipping in and out of consciousness. My significant other at the time, showed up in his uniform (he was a police sergeant and now retired) and suddenly I was treated differently. He witnessed the behaviour of the doctor and asked him if maybe it would make sense to speak with me when I was awake and able to speak? When I became lucid we both expressed bewilderment as to why Dr. Fahey did not realize that asking questions of someone who is heavily medicated and unable to stay awake makes absolutely no sense and that speaking in a frustrated/annoyed manner(luckily witnessed by others) made me (once lucid) request another doctor. I am posting this because my friend told me her Mom's neurologist was very rude and when I asked his name I was sad to hear that yes, it is Dr. Fahey. Unfortunately he has not yet retired; my heart breaks for those who have had the misfortune to be his patients. If you are having a medical emergency I strongly recommend St. Ann's. The treatment I received there was always professional and they genuinely cared about my well being.
I had arthroscopic knee surgery today and the staff was amazing. They were cracking jokes and making me feel at ease. They saw I was a little nervous and just made me comfortable. Dr Fincham was awesome and his staff wad just as good. I would recommend this team any day. Thanks for your professionalism and making me and my family feel like we part of your team.
Both the doctors and the entire staff were fantastic. Second time I've needed emergency care. Thanks to everyone who made an effort. I'm healthier because of you.
Moved from Florida during hurricane Irma. Had to switch pain MGMT doctor and wouldn't even give me enough pain meds for 4 days. Instead, gave me meds to keep me knocked out, bedridden. I am single parent and can't go through withdrawl and take care of my son. I didnt overdose and was trust worthy with my bottle showing dates.
Doctor gave me a b.s. story. Would never go back. Dont care about people.
I was at the ER on 9/22 with my daughter who had been injured in a car accident. Dr. Evans and Dr. Grenier were awesome treating her severely broken wrist. Nurses Hannah and Tiffany couldn't have been better. As good as they were I think the coolest part of the night was when a security guard, last name Hogan, gave my 1 year old grandson one of his cartons of chocolate milk. He stopped to talk to us and asked if he was allowed to have it. Thanks to all of them.
Crooks. Been investigated by Federal Govt. fr falsifying information to medi cal and Medicare. Claim they zero out balance on accounts and meanwhile giving information to credit information agencies otherwise. Unscrupulous!!! Barred me from attending my own mother's funeral. Placed false medical information on records for retaliation. Illegally held me against my will and I was a resident of another state so hopefully I would lose resident status. Day I finally was released they were being audited due to the illegal activity. Corrupt and disgusting. Nasty piece of work like the majority of Ohio. Shocking to how bad Ohio has become.
I wouldn't even give it 1 star this hospital SUCKS never again I will never come back here again it's still the same way it was 30 years ago always suck and always will 😡
I had my tubes tied 6 years ago at a different Hospital. Found out a week or two ago that I was pregnant. Came to the emergency room at Doctors West and they got to the bottom of what was going on faster than my OBGYN wood. Thank goodness because it was a tubal pregnancy and they got me in for surgery super super fast. I've never had a problem with this Hospital and would always Trust them with me or my kids
Wonderful experience here while having my son! The nurses and doctors were incredible. They took care of my every need and treated myself, my boyfriend and our new son just like family. I've also been seen here in the ER and the lab and have never had a poor experience.
I have had to go the Hospital a few times.. Each time i have been has been good. Doctors treat you well here never has any issues. Er docs and nurses are well trained and super understand as well. I would go back again.. if needed to..
If I could rate this hospital no stars I would. The first thing I would like to mention is the staff as a whole is highly unprofessional. The staff is rude, discourteous, immature, and careless. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to in my entire life, and the way they treat clients and family is outright disgusting. This is the worst hospital in Columbus, Ohio. My family was literally praying for my sister and the police came in and kicked my family out and said they are not allowed to do that. They would not allow us to see her, and the staff was laughing at her. This place is utterly despicable. All thumbs down. I would rather go to a butcher than go to this hospital. This place is trash steer clear.
