I will drive out of my way to come here. The staff is happy, attentive, and apparently now we come often enough that they recognize us. I go to the Starbucks by my house three times a week, and I don't get recognized there.
Also, they are family friendly and accommodating to large parties.response / report this review -

My favorite sushi in Riverside. Price is great and the sushi is amazing. Only place I've ever been where the all you can eat isn't junk. The lunch bento boxes are awesome

In all my years of eating out, I have never been treated so rudely! My girlfriend & I went today before 4pm & there was no one sitting at the sushi bar, when we preceded to sit where we had our first date. Chef Eric, rudely points to us to come sit in from of him, because it was too much to ask to have him walk 5 steps to accommodate us. There were two sushi chefs on duty (Remeber:there were no one at the sushi bar) maybe I'm asking a lot to be appreciated for spending my hard earned dollars, never again. This would have never happened if it was still Akina.

I went here for my birthday on May 29th and there was a roach in my food it was not alive but was in my plate when I told the server she was not at all surprised as if this happens often. She told me she'll bring me another one I got up and left. Be careful they have bugs and this was like my 4th time eating here now I often question myself did me or one of my love ones eat a bug from here and didn't notice. Nasty that A on the door have to be old.

I ate at the bar and i talked with the guys working the whole time. I was treated really nice and i was even made a special dish to try. It was an awesome experience.

Wonderful place where they really make you feel like family! They always remember what we order whenever my husband and I come in. We had not come in in a couple of months and they still remembered! Great place, food, and service. I recommend and have come with all of my friends.

Staff were very friendly and fairly attentive. Was busy tho for a Tuesday so I can cut them some slack. Sushi was delicious, tasty, and fresh. Will definitely be back on my next visit to California.

Not only does this place have good sushi, but great cooked dishes as well so you can still go there is someone else doesn't like sushi.
