The last time I went there (2wks ago) the place smelt horrible but the food was amazing. I ended up getting sick but blamed it on eating too much (also pregnant). Hubby went and got me another plate two days ago and not even two maybe 3 hrs after eating it I got horribly sick. Also the mac often has a taste of tuna/fish but when I asked about it was told by the employees that the mac is normal to smell like that but I only smell it on random occasions not everytime I order it. Lazy dirty snobby girl, maybe owners daughter is the rudest employee there.

Food tastes good, service is decent. BUT our family has gone there 3 times over 9 months and each time we get sick! I go to the ohanas over in Vista all the time. I order the same dish, and never have problems.

I'm sorry, but 3 strikes and you're out.

Parents brought me here for lunch and I have to say being a local girl from Hawaii my chicken Katsu curry was so very very delicious YUMMY!!! My dad got the Loco moco and he said it was just good because the burger was over cooked. Mom got the garlic shrimp she said it was very good. The smell took me back to being home. Nice decor and great location. Next time I visit California I would drive to come and eat here.

Always enjoy my time when I visit. I usually go in the evening and never experienced the restaurant being full. However, I do get the occasional wait in a long line every once in a while. Food comes out really quick too!
Overall it's a good experience.

I come here all the time. I LOVE the short ribs here, and usually request some with the seafood combo. My wife likes the chicken katsu. We like to call in our order ahead of time because it's always busy, and sometimes we have dinner here before going to see a movie. The place is low key, but the food is excellent and reasonably priced.
