I hate leaving this review because I used to shop here almost exclusively. They used to have a fantastic variety of European foods, local meats and produce and gourmet things like Schaller and Weber slab bacon. The past few times I've gone in, I've left empty handed and disappointed. I miss being able to fulfill most of my list with local, organic and European foods.
I absolutely love going to Oasis. I live about 2 hours away and I always make a point of stopping by when I'm in the area, they have a great selection of International Foods as well as fresh and frozen products and produce. A definite must go if a lover of Asian food.
Helpful and cordial staff, and the offer Strange Co. coffee for sale as a bonus. I'm a fan of Asian style cooking, and they have just about everything I need. Get there on the right days for great seafood and some mutton (Tuesdays I believe).
This is a well stocked food store providing ingredients from the Asia, India, and Middle Eastern areas of the world as well as local fresh produce. Inside there are also a small stand selling locally roasted coffees from small growers, and a section of cooking supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store is clean
Love this store, very wide selection of international food largely east Asian, middle eastern, South Asian, asian Pacific and some others. They even have a lot of nice local honey, jam, and produce. Nice tea choices too. Good place to get gifts for a foodie friend for sure
So many items that would cost double or even triple at other stores. Great selections. I will make sure to come back here often.
The imported beer selection is great, and the beer prices are good. The rest of the store is kind of pricey, but you can find a lot of stuff here you can't find other places. Great selection of Asian vegetables, Korean items, crunchy snacks, seafood and Halal meats. It's a lot of fun to dig around and find new things to try out. Also a good selection of candy from around the world.
Vast variety of international foods, local produce, halal meats, seafood, frozen items, kefir, dairy, pasture-raised eggs, naan, beer and saki. Helpful staff. Rice cookers and other kitchenware available.
Since it's a world market, I expected to find more stuff from South America and Europe. It's mostly focused in Asian items. It worth the visit.
As good as it gets! I own and operate several restaurants and a catering company, we shop Oasis World Market for many ingredients that we can't get anywhere else, the owners are knowledgeable, helpful, and always wiling to go the extra mile to help us out. largest selection of fresh Euro-Asian vegetables/mushrooms, herbs (much grown local), authentic world products, fresh/frozen seafood, local meats including rabbit, lamb, variety meats. Not only such large selections but the best pricing on everything. As nice a World Grocery Store as found in any large cosmopolitan city.
Oasis is great. I love getting tofu here it's always so fresh. The mochi icecream selection is great. They carry different sakes and its worth visiting at least once to see if you'll like the products there.
Great selection and prices. There's a lot of things (especially spices) that are a much better deal here than the other local grocery stores. Plus it's great for finding some of the more obscure international foods and ingredients.
