Honestly I have the worst luck picking apartments. We have had so many issues with them. Work orders not filled or things in apartment that takes months to fix. Leg injury due to gross negligence on apartments part. Apartment flooded due to backed up septic tank. They take their time getting it cleaned (not replaced) and anything damaged like an area carpet "isn't their problem". The ladys are nice when your signing papers and moving in but that all changes dont get me started on how rude the manager is. Place has recently been remodeled on the outside but still you have huge roaches, wasps, and possible bedbugs. Definitely not worth it. Do NOT move here!

I stopped by here when I thought I would be moving to San Antonio. I really liked it. They had some kind of event going on for the residents and were passing out popcorn and raffle tickets. It was a little busy and hectic but the manager didn't have a problem stopping what she was working on and giving me tour. I loved the upgraded unit and will probably steal the design they had for the space. Thanks for the tour and service.

I have been here 6 months now. Every issue I have had has been addressed in a timely manner. The staff is always kind to those who are respectful to them. The only thing I can truly complain about is there not being a privacy fence panel on my patio. That would make things so much better!!!

I recently moved in to 88 Hundred and have had the best experience since day one! Location is perfect for me and I love the fact that they are pet friendly. Professionalism has always been shown by the staff even when other residents have crossed the line. Teri, the property manager brightens the office and definitely goes out of her way to make you feel at HOME. The property is always clean and apartments are well maintained. Thank you to the office and maintenance staff for all you do!

We just moved in a little over a month ago and are already so very pleased with the apartment we have! They are very quick to respond to any maintenance issues you have and the staff are very kind, caring and attentive to fix any issue that comes their way! I had dropped a very special charm down my sink drain and the next day they were here to get it for me! For the apartments to be as old as they are, they are very nice and maintained, Terri is an amazing property manager and does everything she can to make the residence feel welcome and comfortable. Never in my life of renting from anyone have I seen the staff out in the morning 2 hours prior to them opening handing out breakfast to the residents as they head out for work until I moved here. They I’m sure get tired of me coming up there 24/7 just to chitchat but never are rude about it, they always conversate back and are so friendly! I will be very sad when we have to move for my husbands next duty station. We have felt very welcome and at home since we moved in and it’s because of the staff! Thank you for allowing my little family to rent from y’all and feel at home. I will definitely recommend anyone I know who moves here to come here for a quiet, peaceful home with AMAZING staff

The staff and management are horrible people.. they keep the back pool closed for no reason. the manger terry will kick you out for calling 311 .. your ac bill will be $350 to $400 for summer months they don't care its very hot in the apartments 82 degrees everyday so beware.. everybody has this amount so don't move in here at all..

every apartment has fleas I have been trying to get rid of fleas on my dog for 6 months and every time I get rid of them they just keep coming back the apartment says it will call a flea expert but you have to pay for it.. its the heat but I say no they have a lot of gates are always broken
they take 6 to 7 days to fix things.. but with mold they just spray paint it that's it.they do not answer the phone at all you always have to go up there they also screen calls if they don't like you they will not answer the phone

they charge cleaning fees when you move out so you don't even get your deposit back at all just a small amount

terry always threating to kick you out.these apartments have major electoral issues instead of calling a electerian to check they call there own people which says that everything is fine

I could go on and on. I have lived here for awhile, and have to stay for awhile yet. Where to start
    1. The air conditioner units are not large/strong enough to properly circulate air throughout the apartments. I imagine this is especially bad in the upstairs apartments. If you walk through the property, you'll see window units in several apartments, because it is almost unbearable. This is a known problem, and management ignores the work orders for the a/c, because short of replacing every single unit in the complex, nothing will fix them. I know that this is a known problem because they've admitted it at community meetings with other apartment complex personnel.
    2. Pet waste stations. They removed most of them. I'm told there are others elsewhere on the property, but they aren't in a convenient location for pet owners. What this causes is dog poop all over the property. I don't know why they would have taken them down, except maybe the maintenance guys were tired of having to empty the baskets and maybe they were tired of providing bags for the residents. And I dogs off leash than I do on leash.
    3. The "renovations" are a joke; lipstick on a pig, as they say. They took down everyone's privacy fences and put upwell, I'm not sure what to call them. A fence panel. No one has a private patio anymore. So everyone's stuff is just out in the open for anyone to take as they please. They had the property painted (very sloppily) a horrid blue and dark grey color, and put up sheet metal to hide rotting wood. They also put the sheet metal on the sign out front, and now you have to pull almost into the street to see oncoming traffic.
    4. Work orders get completed whenever they feel like it. Two maintenance men for a property as old and as large as this one is not sufficient.
    5. Parking is not assigned, except now they're selling parking spaces to residents. $10/mo for a non-covered space, and $25/mo for a covered space. The covers are rickety and you never know if a good storm will blow the metal down onto your car (I've seen it blown down in two spots in my time here, but I don't think any cars were parked in those areas at the time). There is very little to no lighting around the property in general, but also underneath the covered parking. What's more, there are broken down and wrecked cars all over the property that they don't seem to care enough about to tow, but want to sell the spaces around them and if you park in an assigned one, you'll likely get towed.

This review is as honest as I can make it, and I hope anyone reading it who is considering living here will take it into consideration in their apartment search.

    Lucy is an awesome apt. Manager! We had great neighbors and used the gym daily. We had to leave due to employment and they were in the process of some amazing upgrades, it was so convent to everything and very spaciousI hate to have to edit this rating but if someone from corporate would contact me before this issue goes any further it would be great. They made an error on my move out, sent it to collections, fixed the error but I have spent 2 months attempting to get these people to handle it with their collections agency and they are reporting it to my credit..next step is a lawsuit!!;

I've been out here almost five years and I haven't had no problems personally but there is something's I don't like and that is the constant change of managers. We finally get a good manager named Lucy she really cared and did her job and helped people the best she could. Sometimes when I go workout late at night she'll still be in the office working and now I heard she's no longer with us that's sad when good people don't get noticed so here we go once again having to go through the same thing the other staff members are nice as well thou. It would be nice if the company took the residents into consideration. Another thing is the parking issue it's ridiculous every since they changed it from us having our spots to first come first serve it was better the way it was. So now we have to pay if we want a reserved spot and I did last month and I'm still waiting this issue is very frustrating. The maintenance is slow and when they come it's either not done right or they'll say they've completed it and haven't. Other than that I like it out here and the apartments are spacious I just wish everything else I mentioned was better. Hope Lucy will come back she was awesome!!!

I have lived here for over a year and over the last 6 months my mind has been completely changed about this apartment complex. Lucy has made living here easy and stress-free. Any problems that I have had have been fixed in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend these apartments to just about anyone. If you want a place to live that feels like a home to know that your kids have a place to play and to feel at ease about your safety this is the place for you. I can honestly say when I first moved here a little over a year ago I was very unhappy nothing that fixed when I moved in my apartment was dirty I had to clean it myself and when Lucy got here things changed stuff started getting fixed and she's easy to talk to you have a problem you go in there and talk to her and she fixes it!!!!!

I am changing my previous review. Ever since Lucy and her staff have come in the apartments have gone from horrible to great. It's a work in progress but something is finally being done. Work orders are finally being taken seriously, the office phone is actually picked up when you call, the staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the slum who lived here are slowly moving out. We are glad we renewed our lease.

I have lived here for about 5 months now and I enjoy my quiet space. I love that the gym is open 24 hours beats paying for a gym membership. The staff isn't as quick to fix things but it does get done as soon as possible. The office staff is pretty good I never have a problem with them.

I've lived here for a year and a half now. In this time, the office staff has changed at least 9 times. You never know who you're going to get in the office. The one that's been there longest is "K" she's a very rude little girl for sure. The maintenance guys are lead by this rude guy "M". He purposely scratched my neighbor's car with his metal tools. I was witness to that and then he lied to try to get out of it He didn't know I saw him. He's just a mean person and very rude and cusses people out a lot. There are roaches here that they won't get rid of. The water omg the water is always an issue here. It's off without warning at LEAST once a month. Hot water is out for at least two full days every other month. They have serious water issues here. Everyone shares this boiler system of hot water. It's a joke. Water pipes are always breaking. You get charged a gas bill but no apartments have gas. When I first moved in, the residents were OKAY. But as time goes on, it's getting more and more ghetto by the month. I'm scared to go out into the parking lot at night. My neighbor's girlfriend was harassed by ghetto thugs outside when she went to her car. A lot of drug deals going on after the front office closes. The gates on one side never work. The pool some rotten thug is always breaking the lights out. The gym is a joke. Someone is always vandalizing the gym so they keep it closed often. This place is over 40 years old and has a lot of structure problems too. When San Antonio had the recent heavy hail storm, it took the complex several months to fix small things like a broken window. My neighbor's fence is STILL broken down and that hasn't been repaired in over 5 months now. It's an eyesore. People leave broken furniture outside the dumpsters and it sits there for months. This place is very trashy. They might keep that office area looking nice, but come in thru the gates, and see how it REALLY is. Trash trash trash. I can't wait to get out of here and find something better for the money I'm spending. There is dog poop all over the grasses here. The complex provides dog poop bags, but no one ever uses them. There are also a lot of people who don't bother to use leashes when they take their dogs out, so loose dogs might chase your leashed ones. The laundry room is HORRID!! It's bad. Just bad..

TOTALLY AWFUL!! IM SOOO EXTREMELY HAPPY TO MOVE OUT AND FEEL SO PEACEFUL AND HAPPY WITH MY NEW PLACEThey are not professional and poor manner to tenant. The rent price is totally rip off because tons of mold, leakage and roaches everywhere so disgust!!! not health for everybody esp children, pets and people who have asthma/allergy triggers. They get new manager almost every month to 3 months which is unprofessional. However, that Maintenance guy are very friendly. Previously Shannon was the best manager in year of 2012 ever than currently. Other apartments I visited with Apartment Locator/Real Estate found out in area of 281/north 410 somewhere are better, neat, comfortable, nice environment at reasonable rent.

The staff and management are horrible people. I had a hole in my ceiling for about 4 months with countless work orders, and nothing done about it. We kept getting violations due to the fact that my neighbors were homophobic and placing false complaints. These people are ridiculous and if you are looking for a place to come and relax inthis clearly isn't the place! I followed through paid off everything and some how I still owe charges that were none existent at the time of moving out. Left my current info and Noone contacted me to let me know of these "mysterious charges". Called two months after moving just to make sure and everything checked out. Here I am now looking for a new apartment and out of nowhere I owe money??? These people are ridiculous.
