I love me some Not Your Average Joe's. I went in for the clam chowder and it was not the clam chowder that I had at more than one location over the past 10 years. I could go to any location in Massachusetts and pretty much order the same thing and it would taste the same. However I hadn't been to Joe's in about three years and then I went back and 2015. My favorite meals have been replaced but that particular day the Miso salmon was amazing. So that prompt me to go back again and again and again. I don't go a whole lot but I go. The new location came round my birthday the one in Westwood and I went there. We always start out with the clam chowder. It was not good was replaced with something else. I chalked it up to being a new location. I knew it would be great at my original spot in Needham or Randolph, I just know it would. Fast forward to Wednesday February 1, 2017 and I have the clam chowder and it was not good it tastes exactly like the one in Westwood and the one we had in Westwood 2016. I did have the Caesar salad which was okay and then of course the bread and oil is just everything. Please don't ever change that.

So today I go back in. I'm really there for the bread and oil but I do have the Almond crusted goat cheese salad and my salad came out with no candied pecans but the bartender who was my waiter was good so it wasn't a big deal. But I miss the old way. I miss my old recipes, chicken Oscar I think it was called and Coconut Shrimp. I understand sometimes you want to change anyway that's my two cents

The service was very good. Friendly and attentive. The food was fairly good, but certainly not gourmet. It's still a great place for a casual night out.

This place sucks. I waited for a table for a hour. They told me at first it would be 15 minutes. After 15 minutes they told me it will be a few minutes longer. I waited and waited. Never got a seat. I will never go here again. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fall back place for good food at table it the bar. Been coming here for decades. Always good. Never a complaint. This time they screwed up one order and I just didn't like the other. They made it ALL right and did right by us. One screw up in twenty plus years (???) ain't bad. And try the pizza.
