Fantastic place. We had a party of 14 and had reservations which was grwat because we didn't have to wait. We all had tasty meals and the prices are reasonable. The had great service. We will Definately be eating there again. I would recommend reservations For a large party

Good food, decent beer. I have been visiting NCBC, and have been a Mug Club Member, for several years. At times, the wait is long, but the service is always good. There have been more than a few times that the kitchen has dropped the ball on food quality. Burnt hamburgers, cold ribs, are two of the issues that have arisen. The prices have also been steadily climbing for years, and now I'm not sure that I'm willing to pay higher prices on some dishes than their equivalent closer to home (Pittsburgh).

Years later I still think it's the best restaurant in the area. Everything from the menu to the design is unique and amazing! The waitstaff are amazing, the design is amazing and the food is beyond amazing! The waitstaff come to see you just enough, I see something new in the walls or ceiling every time I go and I have never been disappointed with the food (or the beer).

What a cool place. Loved the building, such a unique and interesting place. Food was delicious and service was incredible. Efficient, polite, and water constantly filled. Unbelievable value for money. Can’t wait to try again some day.

They need to not show frustration with each other in front of customers (I'm talking about the hostess where you register to be seated in the first place).
Our waitress never came back after she took our order for food, never told us her name just a what can I get you?
We had our salads still with us until she came to give us our check. Which giving us the bill and receiving it took at least 20 minutes, if not more. Wish it was an exaggeration. We just wanted to get out of there.
Never got a refill on our fountain drinks- and the excuse was they were changing it out(which ironically happened last time we were there too). Seems like a suspicious trend. So, they couldn't offer us anything else to drink or tell us this before giving us our check? I also couldn't get steak sauce with my steak because the waitress never came back to see how we were doing.
The food is good, love the fries, but their service needs to be better. At least act like you care about your customers and aren't frustrated that they came in to keep your business alive. Without us, you wouldn't be open with a job. Kindness goes a long way. Won't be back.response / report this review -

Great atmosphere, wonderful food! Waiter took time to chat with us, made us feel like friends. Sandwiches were amazing, tender meat, huge servings.

As always, the food, beer, and wine are great! The staff is always friendly and service is great. My only issue is that they were 2 dogs-one outside and one inside. While I love dog immensely, my husband is so allergic that he has had many trips tp the ER getting breathing treatments for allergy-induced asthma attacks. There is a time and place for pets, and a restaurant is not one of them. Please leave your dogs at home!

One of my favorite places to eat. Everything is good and most of it is homemade. The only complicated thing is parking. I love the BBQ pulled pork and the French fries. They have variety packs to go, too!

Great place if you like craft brews. They also have good food with rotating specials. They seem to buy local for many items on menu. Check out their menu on website to keep up with what beers are currently on tap & other specials.

This is the best place to eat in the immediate area by far. It is a college down though, so make sure you get early. I don't believe they take reservations. Parking is also difficult to find. The beer is good, but the food is even better and at reasonable prices.

Out of towner staying locally for a night- decent food, excellent atmosphere beer was exceptionally crafted (had the IPA), service was great and locals very friendly! Happened to be open mic night and the talent was superb! The perfect venue with a mix of locals and college patrons; relaxed and chill but slightly eclectic hang out for anyone local or not looking for a way to spend an evening. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm through the area

Outstanding! Ribs fall off the boneperfect. Mile high burger! The home made bread was amazing. Our server Mike did a great job. Fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend for food, service and atmosphere.
