Small Japanese market with a sushi bar in the back. Awesome selection of Japanese ingredients, condiments, quick foods, snacks, fresh fish. They have a freezer with fresh mushrooms, vegetables, etc.

Sushi bar does great work, good portion sizes, and tastes great. Recommend calling ahead at least half an hour for pick up sushi.

Also great little touches of Japanese culture, makes it a really great store to shop in. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Are you tired of the corporate branding and chain restaurants? Do you miss having a neighborhood spot that's refreshingly unique? Then look no further than this authentic gem that is discretely located along a strip mall on the north side of 14 Mile, and just East of Main Street in Clawson.

Now as for me, I'm a simple creature of habit when it comes to sushi. I typically get the same thing everywhere I go. Hell, I've even enjoyed sushi in Japan. That being said, I cannot recommend a better or more authentic sushi experience than the one found at Noble Fish.

But be warned when it comes to eating in at Noble Fish. This tucked away sushi bar that's located at the back of this quaint Japanese grocery seats only a handful of people, and it's considered bad form to sit around and talk once finished. Get a seat, enjoy the best sushi in town, and get going. Otherwise, don't be surprised by the evil glares from the other dozen or so people waiting for you to figure out what's going on.

Dining in not your thing? Then simply peruse the wonderful selection of things here that you'll never find at your local super market, and take home something special.

This is so good. Best sushi ever and for reasonable prices. Wish we lived closer, as we would then be regulars. 1200 miles is a bit far to drive for dinner or lunch. We ended up by chance, and wow. It is good. Please try it.

Absolutely the best sushi you can get in Detroit. It does take some time to get your food on a crowded day, and there's virtually nowhere to sit, but once that fresh, perfectly prepared fish and sushi rolls hit your mouth none of that matters. Hand rolls are amazing. Sushi is amazing. Sashimi is amazing. Even the prepared takeout is better than most sushi places. Must try!

Great place for sushi!! Definitely the best prices and quality in the area. I have not been graced with the chance to eat in the restaurant but there are always fresh boxes of rolls placed in the grocery section. There's always a wide variety of choices that can meet your craving. The employees are nice as well.
The grocery store has helpful supplies if you want to make your own sushi, as well as fresh fish. Overall, a solid choice for when you're feeling indecisive about what to eat.

The sushi tasted fresh! It was a bit smaller than most places, but it was pretty tasty. This is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but it's great! The store in the front has all types of ingredients and materials to make your own sushi as well. It was very busy and I received recommendations to come here! Definitely check it out! :)

Noble is my #1 sushi go to. It’s not only the best sushi in Michigan but I live in New York now and nothing compares there. Super fresh fish, friendly service, great atmosphere and fabulous prices.

Consistently the best sushi I have had in the Detroit area. Miso soup is flavorful and bought every time I order.

Sometimes has a wait, large volume of loyal customers. The sushi will be worth the wait, though. ( $$ )

Depending on your prior sushi experiences, the fish/roll prices will likely be normal or high. I promise you, the quality is there and it is worth the price.

Hands down the BEST sushi in the area. Having been raised on Japanese food I can assure you their stuff is authentic and delicious, and very reasonably priced. I usually go once or twice a week for lunch. You can also buy just the fish if you prefer to make it at home. The grocery store side has all my basic Japanese cooking/snacking necessities. Love everything about them!

I think they have the best sushi in the state. The restaurant size is not very large but it is worth being cramped for their fantastic fish and sea food. The market in the same store is also nice if you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine supplies

Sushi pickup counter staff unhelpful. Phoned in order, told 25 minutes. Waited an extra 25 minutes for our sushi AFTER I arrived & asked if it was ready. Name wasn't ever called. Sushi chef dropped a shaker of sesame seeds, one of our party picked upeven then we weren't asked what we were waiting for. Finally I askwhat's up with our order?

OhIt was sitting on a shelf behinds the cooks the whole time. No apologies. No discounts. Waited for no reason when someone made the sushi, snuck it onto a shelf, didn't call our name, and didn't ask why we were waiting next to the pickup counter.

The reviews of this restaurant are very accurate. You're not going to find a better value for sushi that's as fresh. I had an 8-piece crunchy tuna roll with generous amounts of tuna for only $4:55! Pre-made, but because they have so many people come through its always fresh.

Love this place. Whenever I have a chance to go to Michigan, this is my stop for lunch or early dinner. Great value and quality for their fish. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Never a downer, unless you didn't make it in time before they close for the day. If it was closer to where I live I would go there more often. The long line is worth the wait.

Noble Fish is a bit of a three-fold store. They sell Asian goods and produce, fish, and the have a sushi bar in the far back.

The carry a nice selection of snacks you can't typically find in the Asian section of your supermarket. Their fish is top notch, I have used it at home for homemade sushi with success.

To top it off, the sushi bar serves incredibly cheap and delicious sushi.

The only mark I can put down against the place is that it seems to have outgrown it's size. The store is fairly small and the sushi bar seats around 20 maximum. If you have many orders ahead of yours, you might be left waiting for longer than you might like.

It can get cramped with the tiny seating area and the line of people waiting for their carry out or waiting in line for the cashier.
