This place is great, I’m only actually writing this because it was looted. I’m super mad, a place where you could grab a casual smash game with some great people, ruined. Everything has gone too far.

Don't get me wrong, I think this place is great, it's like a hub for Nintendo in N.Y.C, it's an amazing place for all Nintendo fans. There's a million things that fixate you're eyes there, it's like a dream. The staff our great, it's awesome. There's even interactive Nintendo consoles for new games. However, this place is busy from dawn to dusk and it's not the the biggest. I guess it would make sense fro SOME things to cost a lot, but other things, wow! Still a great place that puts Rockefeller on the map, supposedly.

Visited the store almost 2 months ago. It gives you the nostalgic feeling, and doesn't forget to capitalize on it. You can find anything here (especially your favorite pokemon starter), everyone is very friendly, and the staff are great.

A gamer’s paradise!!! The staff were all so friendly.. I’m sure loving what you’re doing helps! My son was able to try out some new games. I was able to point out the systems I used to own (and talk about how simple and great it used to be!). And we left with some Nintendo New York merchandise he gets to wear around!!

Definitely a fun place to hang out with friends or demo some games from the Nintendo Brand. Also some fuzzy toys to buy if you need something to give to your loved ones or for your collection. Only complaint is that the place is too space out and the selections can look very sparse; but I understand that they do a lot of rotation of the products they sell.

I really enjoyed this shop.
This is a huge 2 story Nintendo store right near the Rockefeller Christmas tree. They have a lot of interesting and unique items for sale. They also have current and former gaming systems on display and for purchase. It is somewhat like a mini museum as well as a store.
For any Nintendo aficionado this is a must while in NY city.response / report this review -

What an awesome experience. My five year old daughter was glued to the 25ft projection screen for the Nintendo switch. They have plenty of supply and a very helpful team of employees. I really had some good memories brought back thanks to the museum like displays of the previous gaming systems. I go back to the '85 system. Update: the staff was incredibly helpful on our second visit and I must say I was impressed. I will return whenever I'm back in NY.

Really cool store for everything which belongs to Nintendo.
Every fan will be in his absolute dreamland when entering here.
You will find all stuff from Mario to Zelda some historic things are exhibited as well.

As a Nintendo fan, this place is a dream come true. The decor is fun, bright and lighthearted. The staff is helpful and kind, and you can play demos on many new games and systems. Alongside this, there are some very cool pieces of memorabilia that are fun to explore. It's also very cool that this store runs all sorts of fun special events and exclusive products. Lastly, the store had a ton of SNES Classics and Switches in stock (at the time of writing, both are hard to find).

A great place to play the latest games! On the second floor there is a massive screen and multiple stations of handhelds. Some hard to find merchandise is available but not a full line of any one game's merchandise. None of the more available merchandise is for sale here. The staff is awesome! The place is spotless. So much fun to visit and a great way to find collectors items from Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Kirby and more. There are benches for those waiting for other shoppers on the first level.

As a Nintendo fan, I was eager to step into the Nintendo Store and see a grand and insane selection of exclusive merchandise one could only find in NYC. Instead I found a lot of stuff you could get elsewhere. Shirts that I have had myself for years were on the wall, trinkets that you could find online for the same or similar price, and the exclusive merchandise was relegated to a very small rack of clothing with Nintendo Store NYC on them. Not even the elusive amiibo that I had been searching for could be found there, a place that I figured would be the best bet for finding ones that were impossible to find.
Nonetheless, it's still a neat little store tucked into a corner near 30 Rock- one that I wound up going to twice while in the city. The giant screen on the second floor is very neat to see playing a selected game. You can try a lot of different titles there, and see some cool displays.
If you were however looking for exclusive items, you won't find much here. Pokemon Center's online has a lot of the items, and other retailers are going to have a lot of the other titles. It's definitely a place to stop by if you're in NYC and a Nintendo fan, but not something you should travel to NYC just to do.response / report this review -

I love Nintendo. This place is equal parts mini museum and store for everything Nintendo. Me and my kid enjoyed the experience. My only complaint is the store felt a little cramped. I don't know if it was because of the amount of people there or just the space itself. I would definitely go the next time I am in New York. I hope they built more stores.

Mecca for any fan of Nintendo! If you want to buy items that are exclusive to the store, they have a wide variety of items there, if you want a small trip down memory lane, on the 2nd floor, they house a small museum like section showing off the different video game consoles that Nintendo has released throughout their long history. It's a great store with awesome employees who are willing to help with any Nintendo related question you might have and they also host several events throughout the year to coincide with releases of their products.

This place is always a pleasure to step into (except on an especially busy day when it can be hard to walk around without bumping into people. They have some cool memorabilia on display that they rotate fairly frequently. Definitely a treat if you're in the area.

Love this place. its all about Nintendo. The only thing I wish they have is a Fit room. they have clothes to buy but no where to try and see if it fits. and as a NY visitor its hard to go back and exchange.

Anyone who is a Nintendo fan must try and get here at least once. There was a huge screen with a Mario Kart competition going on the day I was there. Prices are not that bad either.

A great place to go if you're a video-game fan or just a Nintendo fan. The selection of goods changes a lot all the time, but it is always filled with cool stuff. The museum of Nintendo is just another great excuse to visit the store, and see some fancy stuff like the bomb surviving Game Boy.

Nintendo paradise. Probably the coolest store for someone who loves Nintendo as much as I do. All of the latest products, including stuff I haven't even seen at other stores. Tons of demo stations, big displays, and a mini Nintendo museum area. The museum area stood out to me most here - they've got one of each console in chronological order split between handheld and home console. They even have an original Game Boy that was damaged in a bombing during the Gulf War.. and still works. Some other standouts to me include the absolutely massive screen that you can play games on and the real size displays they have scattered around. I personally thought the Master Sword display was really cool. Like I said earlier, they have lots of demo stations. In this case, they had Switch games - Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the big screen and other games including Snipperclips on the other demo units.
I'm sure everything gets switched out depending on the latest releases, so I'll be back to check it out again soon.response / report this review
