Went once, then twice, then thrice and so on. Great tasting Thai food. Recommend reservations on weekends. Love it.

Food is always excellent. Tends to be on the spicy side so even a 3 can be too much for some. Small but nice dining area, both inside and out. Tends to get very crowded. Service has always been good as well. My go to place for asian food.

This place would be worth it for its charm, even if the food wasn't so good. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and they don't mind that I tend to bring toddlers there. The garden seating is just lovely. The food is really well-made, typical Thai restaurant food, with a few interesting twists every once in a while.

We had a bad experience. We went on a Sunday night about 7:30. The place was modestly busy. Our waitress forgot about our appetizers and brought the main course quite late. Then they brought the appetizers but forgot my daughter's food so we are eating and she's hungry. My kids wanted ice cream (groan) and after 20 minutes it hadn't come so we left. They were surprised . All this said, the Thai food is decent but I feel like this place has a undeserved reputation for being great. They clearly have problems with staff. We won't be coming back any time soon.

We are from out of town and this was our first visit to Nicky's. The server was extremely helpful in helping us choosing a good level of spiciness. It came out perfectly for both of us. Just spicy enough to make my bald head sweat yet not so bad my ears started to bleed. They did come loose just a bit. Perfect! The Crab Fried Rice was the best I have ever had anywhere. It was made with real crab buy had no bits of shell or anything at all undesirable. We ate in outside dining area and it was a wonderful experience. It was a warm evening but the patio was cool, shady and had a very nice breeze. The sparrows were quite friendly without being overly so. It was great food, excellent service, very nice ambience and relatively inexpensive. Two people. Two meals soft drinks with tip for under 50 bucks. Drinks would of course driven the price up considerably. We ate until we were full but stopped short of hating ourselves and took home leftovers.

I've been here twice now. The food is excellent with lots of different options, so you can try something adventurous every time. Drinks are great too- I love the Thai iced tea. Service is friendly and fast. Just be careful about their spiciness ratings if you're a wimp like me- not everything here is or has to be spicy, but when they say spicy, they mean it!!

Lunch food, appetizers and drinks were all great. We sat outside in a beautiful covered patio with plants and fountains and statues everywhere. Price was very good, about $65 for three people; three iced teas, two appetizers, two lunch platters and a dinner entree. Very good service too. Can't wait to go back here!

This place has a wonderful ambiance! I was seated immediately at the back patio. The setting and decorations are charming back there. The wait staff was prompt and food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious!

I was in town and Google suggested this place for dinner.
Nicky' s Thai Kitchen is incredibly busy and the indoor dining is too loud and cramped to enjoy your food. I'd call ahead and make a reservation before coming. The scenery isn't that great and it could use a slight revamp (add another dining room for godsake!).
Onto the food. The coconut soup was the best I have ever had! I wish I could eat it over and over again! I also ordered the Pad Thai, because really, can anyone mess that up? Nicky's Thai Kitchen managed to do that. I have serious allergies and they made a huge fuss over preparing my meal. And to be perfectly honest, I've had better Pad Thai at chain restaurants: nothing special here.
Perhaps one of my biggest complaints is that they serve beverages from a can. I guess it's up to the individual but I strongly prefer fountain drinks over canned (it just makes you look cheap). And also, no alcohol served here if you're interested.
Overall: nothing special. If you're staying close in town and just need some sustenance, then sure, eat here. Otherwise it's not worth a trip for the mediocre food.

The server was kind and attentive. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. I had the wild curry and it was delicious. If u want to sit outside, make a reservation. The menu had a lot of options in comparison to a few other Thai spots I have tried in the 412. Got som samosa to go and look fwrd to trying ☺I will be back to try the crab fried rice next 😍

This resturant is quite charming. The decor is beautiful and each table has fresh flowers as a side piece. The hospitality was amazing and the food was simply Delicious. I would recommend the crab fried rice (Its real Lump crab meat!) With an Thai ice tea. Can't wait to go back and try the dessert😋

The best restaurant in Philadelphia--and probably in Pennsylvania. Pierre has an amazing ability to combine flavor, texture, and temperature to create dishes that literally bring my wife and I to tears. The front of the house consists of the most humble, personable, attentive staff that we have ever encountered. THIS is what a four-bell restaurant is like!
