Came here for breakfast. Typical breakfast menu items. Food was good, prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent.

Best old-school diner experience in LA. Get the ham and eggs; benedicts and free coffee on the weekends. Great counter service. An LA institution.

One of those "hole in the wall" gems. Breakfast was delicious and service was incredible. Found this place online so thought I'd check it out while i was in town. Shout out to Kimberly for making my first time there one to remember.

Historic diner in an industrial location. They have ham; they have grits; they have fresh biscuits. It's mostly a large, circular counter, with some seating outside. I will have to come back to try the eggs benedict, available on the weekends.

Love it. Love it. Love it. I'm from the northeast, where we have our share of diners, and this place totally hits the spot. Everything is delicious and clearly made from scratch. The biscuits are amazing. The chicken sausage is caseless and very tasty. Chill area right next to the park. Highly recommend this place.

GREAT place, just like an old school diner. GREAT selection of eggs. I had one of their burgers and the meat just melts in you mouth, in a good way. It is small and you sit at a bar inside, some tables outside. Other than that it's a nice chill place, probably not good for big groups, I went with 2 friends and it was fine.

Cash only, there is an ATM inside the diner.

It gets busy here but the waiters are awesome! Of course, the food is great too! Don't forget to bring cash!

Best breakfast in downtown Los Angeles. If you enjoy ham steak.this place is a must. Think place has been around since nice early 50's. Thanks old fashioned seating at counteror can sit outside in tabled seating area. Weekends my wife loves great selection of egg Benedict dishes. She loves them. Been visiting Nick's for over 30 years.

Real authentic American style diner. If you get here early enough you can even enjoy breakfast with some of the LAPD. Great food and amazing service.

Home-style type cooked food Delicious, tastes great, though it makes me feel guilty for it being so "loaded" (with calories and fat) Service is consistently excellent. Typically pretty packed on weekends, but does also get crowded during game the week around the lunch hour.

The only thing that sucks about this place is that it closes early. An old school diner w/ a rich history + tradition to the city of Los Angeles.

Everything is made from scratch and they serve large portions. Be prepared to spend some $$ but they won't break your wallet. Small counter space on the inside and only a few tables outside w/ limited shade. Either wise a pleasurable experience for all to behold
