There is nothing like the only State Capitol without a dome. The restoration has been perfect. It is truly one of a kind, and I'm proud to have had the privilege of working in the building. The free tour is worth it.

Years of living in Albany and I'd never been before tonight! So impressive and epic! Full of rich history and detail everywhere you look.
The building is beautiful. The story is amazing- in good and bad ways. The artwork is beautiful.
Who knew a state capital could be so architecturally and beautifully built? The tour was so well done! We loved every minute!
A must see, great and beautiful architecture but the only problem is, can't visit during the weekend.
Awesome. Great tour guide. Hand carved sandstone is beautiful!
I love this building. The tour is definitely worth doing.
Absolutely stunning building. The architecture is like nothing I've ever seen. Love visiting and walking the halls and seeing the different floors. Always a pleasure seeing lawmakers too!
Beautiful. Came at night and no one was around.
Lovely, interesting and very eclectic building. The tours are free and well worth it - you can always roam freely afterwards with more insight
Knowledgable and friendly staffs for the tour. Recommended for tourists since it's free and there's not much to do in Albany. The building itself is very nice too.
Great place for a walk, bike ride, roller skating, ice skating (seasonally) and even just relaxing. Plenty of places to sit and read a book or "people watch". Easy access to the Museum and their are many great local landmarks, memorials, monuments and pocket parks surrounding the plaza.
Huge building with ornate stairways. Free entrance. Small shop inside and a Dunking Donuts (?!). Friendly security staff. A collection of paintings of Albany and New York State can be found on the first floor.
